BREAKING: James Clapper Makes STUNNING Admission About Spying On TRUMP

The former Director of National Intelligence under Obama, James Clapper, has some explaining to do.

Months ago, when President Trump tweeted that he was surveilled at Trump Tower, Clapper denied any and all existence of any such spying.

“There was no such wiretap activity mounted against the president elect at the time, or as a candidate, or against his campaign,” he said in March during an appearance on Meet the Press.

Clapper has held that position ever since, despite the fact the recent revelations by none other than CNN, who also ridiculed the President, proved the President right; Paul Manafort was under surveillance, and he had a residence in Trump Tower.

Apparently, Clapper is starting to feel the heat. Last night during an appearance on CNN, he still stood by his previous claim, but said that it was “conceivable” that President Trump’s communications were picked up during the surveillance.

Clapper appeared visibly anxious while he answered host Don Lemon. However, that didn’t stop him from trying to slither his way out of actually answering any questions.

“Is it possible the President was picked up in a conversation with Paul Manafort?” Lemon asked.

“It’s certainly conceivable,” said Clapper.

“Is it likely?” asked Lemon.

“Uh, I can’t say. I – uh – wouldn’t wanna go there, but I will say, it’s possible,” responded Clapper.

This isn’t the first time that Clapper’s honesty has been called into question. The former Obama official has been caught numerous times either stretching the truth or outright lying, even to the point he’s committed perjury during his testimony to Congress, when he vehemently denied the NSA was collecting “any type of data” on Americans.

Once again, it appears as if someone from the Obama administration has been caught in a bald-faced lie.

The question is, when will they be held accountable?
