Gov Jerry Brown Tells U.N. ‘America Not Run by Trump!’

Sassy Liberty AMERICA’S FREEDOM FIGHTERS –

After years of money mismanagement and bureaucracy with a side of bureaucracy in the state of California have caused near-catastrophic failures with infrastructure across the state, a wildly unpopular multi-BILLION dollar train to nowhere, rolling blackouts, sanctuary policies, still more bureaucracy, and the highest paid governor in the nation.  Yet aside from the largest paycheck as governor, it seems Jerry Brown also has the biggest mouth.

Just one day after California Governor Jerry Brown compared supporters of President Trump to cave dwelling troglodytes, he proceeded to tell the United Nations America is not run by President Trump. He made the idiotic commentary while speaking at a U.N. roundtable event on Tuesday, vowing he will continue the fight against climate change despite President Trump’s apparent stance on the issues.

Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown stated –

“America is not run by Donald Trump. Even California is not run by Jerry Brown. We are a country of diverse power centers and mobilizing those power centers that are not controlled by the president is still a very worthwhile goal and very powerful.”

Brown presented the argument that so-called “real power” does not lie with the executive office but with mayors and governors, and company CEOs — not just with the Commander-in-Chief of the United States.

“We are not a top-down, one center of power dictating to everybody else.”

Brown was one of a handful of governors and mayors that publicly defied President Trump in his America first policy and was highly critical of his decision to withdraw the United States from the Paris Climate Accord.  President Trump has previously referred to climate change as “a hoax” and is very unsupportive of climate change as a whole.  He publicly spoke that the international accord was bad for American jobs and the American economy.

According to Politico, Brown has been working to recruit local governments to join him at several planned climate change events this week.  While speaking at one in New York City on Monday he mocked President Trump supporters.

Brown stated –

“They’re both kind of very similar. You should check out the derivation of ‘Trump-ite’ and ‘troglodyte,’ because they both refer to people who dwell in deep, dark caves.

It would be great if the president would join the movement. He’s not there yet. He believes this whole thing that we’re talking about, what all the scientists are publishing thousands of papers, is all a hoax. And it’s a hoax invented in China. He believes that.”

This is a man that once referred to his own constituency as “freeloaders” when they dared to complain about an unwanted, unfair tax increase while he himself was living the high life.

Brown may have found a sympathetic audience in New York but on Twitter, there were plenty cave dwellers siding solidly with President Trump and his administration.
