As the controversy over NFL players disrespecting our National Anthem grows, chilling news has emerged regarding Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and other team owners who’ve spoken out about protests.

In something that sounds straight out of Stalinist Russia, Jones, along with Texans owner Bob McNair and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft are being targeted for their negative commentary about players showing no respect for the nation that gave them everything. According to a shocking report from ESPN, the three owners were specifically singled out for a lawsuit from disgraced quarterback Kaepernick specifically because they don’t happen to agree with his politics.

The chilling report states that the three men are being deposed in Kaepernick’s lawsuit alleging collusion between team owners to keep them out of the league, despite the fact Kaepernick terminated his previous contract on his own. As a part of the process, they’re going to be forced to turn over all cell phone and email records, a league source told ESPN.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Houston Texans owner Bob McNair, among others, will be deposed and asked to turn over all cellphone records and emails in relation to the Colin Kaepernick collusion case against the NFL, a league source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Other owners as well as team and league officials also will be deposed in relation to the case, the source said. ABC News reports that other owners to be deposed include the Seattle Seahawks’ Paul Allen and the San Francisco 49ers’ Jed York.

ABC News reports that the owners were selected for depositions based on their public statements about either Kaepernick or sideline protests during the national anthem.

Lovely, right? Innocent until proven guilty, unless a crybaby racist with zero respect for our nation decides he’s going to sue you.

Then, it’s prove you’re not guilty.

Worse yet, the suit was brought based upon Kaepernick believing he’s entitled to play in the NFL, even though the teams are owned by private individuals and have the right to hire and fire whoever they’d like, for whatever reason they like.

Kaepernick’s attorney, Mark Geragos, said in October that the free-agent quarterback had filed a grievance under the collective bargaining agreement alleging collusion against signing him to an NFL contract.

The filing, which demands an arbitration hearing on the matter, says the NFL and its owners “have colluded to deprive Mr. Kaepernick of employment rights in retaliation for Mr. Kaepernick’s leadership and advocacy for equality and social justice and his bringing awareness to peculiar institutions still undermining racial equality in the United States.”

After filing the grievance, Kaepernick tweeted that he did so “only after pursuing every possible avenue with all NFL teams and their executives.”

Kaepernick is not going through the NFL Players Association but instead hired Geragos, who has represented several high-profile clients, including Michael Jackson, former NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield and musician Chris Brown.

So basically, this little b—h thinks that he has the right to say and do whatever he wants while under the employment of someone else, that he has the right to force you to hire him even if he’s of no value to your business and turns away customers because he’s trying to shove his political beliefs down their throats, and that if you disagree with him then you should be sued to force you to turn over your private communications and risk exposing either embarrassing communications or industry secrets.

Are we still living in America?

Both he and his attorney should take a long walk off a short pier over deep water.
