The “Rev” Jesse Jackson’s son, Jesse Jackson, Jr., is a proud example of welfare fraud in America.
Jackson is a former member of Congress and has served jail time for campaign finance fraud. Now we’re learning about a different kind of fraud Jackson has committed—entitlement fraud.
Jackson receives over $100,000 per year from the federal government for a “mood disorder” and receives a partial pension—$45,000 per year—from his time in Congress, even though Jackson was forced out of his position due to fraudulent actions with his campaign funds.
Last summer, Jackson vanished for two weeks during his criminal indictment process. His office later released a statement claiming he had taken medical leave for “exhaustion.” But when Jackson never returned, his office said he was hospitalized for “emotional problems,” aka “I don’t way to go to jail syndrome.”
The Jackson family was able to have a doctor sign off on Jackson Jr.’s “mental problem,” making him eligible to receive $8,700 per month in government disability, in addition to his Congressional pension. Remember, he’s receiving this disability WHILE he’s in prison for campaign finance violations.
Something just doesn’t seem right here? But if we question this fraud, we’re racist—right?
Do you think this man should be receiving this much tax money for a fraudulent condition?
