Senator John McCain of Arizona has been no friend of the President, or Republicans, for that matter, and he once again showed it on Friday.

The Arizona RINO previously surprised the nation when he unexpectedly voted down the repeal of the disastrous bill known as Obamacare, which many believe had more to do with his ongoing grudge against President Trump than any morals he may have. At the time, McCain promised his Democrat colleagues a “show” when he took to the Senate floor to vote, and he then proudly gave a thumbs down as Democrats cheered him on.

Afterward, the Republican in name only was seen laughing and cutting up with Senator Chuck Schumer, who’s been President Trump’s most vocal opponent in the Senate. Well, it appears as if McCain didn’t learn his lesson from the last time, and he once again wants to kill the Republican effort to repeal and replace Obamacare.

This guy is a real piece of work.

From the Daily Caller:

Sen. John McCain of Arizona announced Friday afternoon that he will vote against his Republican colleagues’ last-ditch effort to repeal and replace Obamacare.

“I cannot in good conscience vote for the Graham-Cassidy proposal. I believe we could do better working together, Republicans and Democrats, and have not yet really tried,” he said in a statement Friday.

“Nor could I support it without knowing how much it will cost, how it will effect insurance premiums, and how many people will be helped or hurt by it. Without a full CBO score, which won’t be available by the end of the month, we won’t have reliable answers to any of those questions,” McCain said.

For some reason, after eight years of Democrats shoving their horrible agenda down our collective throats, McCain now feels that Republicans should reach the 60-vote threshold to pass the Obamacare bill. He’s joined by none other than Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins, both of whom may as well switch to the Democrat Party, and of course, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, who refuses to vote yes for the bill based on his principles, or something.

Although to be fair, Murkowski and Collins have both said they have yet to make a final decision. But if past votes are any indication, they’re not going to vote in favor of the bill.

Who would have thought that with Republican majorities in both Houses of Congress, plus a Republican President, it would be so difficult to repeal the worst legislation to ever be passed by Congress?

These people should be ashamed of themselves.
