BREAKING: Julian Assange Just Got HORRIBLE News- LOOK What America Is CRIMINALLY CHARGING Him With

The Department of Justice is filing charges seeking the arrest of Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange under the Espionage Act, the general Conspiracy statute, and the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act as it applies to journalists and publishers.

The site gained notoriety and became a household name when it made public thousands of files stolen by former US Army intelligence analyst Bradley Manning back in 2010.

Some view Manning as a traitor, others a hero for what he exposed.

Previous prosecutors have chosen not to move forward citing first amendment concerns that would preclude prosecution of Assange since Wikileaks was not alone in publishing the documents stolen by Manning.

Many newspapers did as well, including publications such as the New York Times, known most recently for its take-down of Bill O’Reilly of Fox News with their own brand of “investigative journalism.”

In a press conference, Attorney General Jeff Session stated the arrest of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is a US “priority,” indicating his office is prepared to move forward with charges against Assange.
Sessions stated the rash of leaks of sensitive secrets appeared unprecedented in the history of this country.

“We are going to step up our effort and already are stepping up our efforts on all leaks. This is a matter that’s gone beyond anything I’m aware of. We have professionals that have been in the security business of the United States for many years that are shocked by the number of leaks and some of them are quite serious. Whenever a case can be made, we will seek to put some people in jail.”

Many in the intelligence communities seem to hold a special hatred for Wikileaks and for Assange in particular.  Just last week CIA Director Mike Pompeo branded WikiLeaks a “hostile intelligence service,” saying it threatens democratic nations and joins hands with dictators.  Pompeo focused on the anti-secrecy group and other leakers of classified information like Edward Snowden, believing they are one of the key threats facing the United States.

Pompeo states –

WikiLeaks walks like a hostile intelligence service and talks like a hostile intelligence service. It has encouraged its followers to find jobs at CIA in order to obtain intelligence… And it overwhelmingly focuses on the United States, while seeking support from anti-democratic countries and organizations. It is time to call out WikiLeaks for what it really is – a non-state hostile intelligence service often abetted by state actors like Russia.
