Have you noticed how in recent years, especially with Democratic Presidents and other politicians, we have seen the total disregard for the rules? Yep, whether we are talking about Clinton or Obama it would seem that they are going to do anything in their power to continue pushing through and achieving their agenda and damn the rules. Laws are now seen by corrupt and conceited politicians like Obama as simple rubber bands that can be stretched and pushed right up to their breaking points. It is almost as if they have a total disregard for actually working within the system.

Since he has already been prominently mentioned, let’s take a closer look at Obama. He is no different than anyone else, except that he frequently decides the Constitution is something that can be looked at as simply an inconvenience, rather than a hard and fast guideline about what can and cannot be done. To Obama, this document is not a set of rules to keep tyranny at bay. Instead, he would rather have the tyranny…as long as he is the tyrant in question!

Never mind the fact that the Constitution is generally a very clear and concise document. As another example let’s take a look at clause three of the section regarding presidential powers: “The president shall have power to fill up vacancies that may happen during the recess of the Senate, by granting commissions which shall expire at the end of their next session.”

Now, we have Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia saying that our wonderful community organizer in chief is changing the interpretation of the Constitution for his own nefarious means. In fact, he said that this is a very narcissistic interpretation and also called Obama a “self-interested presidents.” This is really a scathing criticism for a sitting president.

It also seemed as if Obama and Senate leader Harry Reid are working in tandem on this. Dingy Harry has recently enacted the nuclear option in the Senate. This now is going to allow for Senate approval of all nominations by a simple majority vote. This probably means that Obama does not have to worry about this for the time being. Then again, it might come back to bite the Democrats if they end up losing control of the Senate in the mid-term elections.

What do YOU think about all this? Is Obama trying to twist and pervert the Constitution for his own nefarious purposes? Should the Supreme Court put an end to this? Will the ‘Nuclear’ option imposed by Senator Reid come back to be a thorn in the foot of the Democrats? Do you expect more Constitutional chicanery from Obama during the rest of his term?
