The latest leftist attack against President Trump has General John Kelly furious.

The controversy started when Rep. Fredericka Wilson listened in on the phone call the President made to the widow of a fallen soldier, and the left has politicized the issue so badly that Gen. Kelly made a rare appearance at the White House podium to shut the whole thing down.

Kelly’s a battle-hardened general, and he doesn’t take too kindly to people trying to score political points off of the deaths of our soldiers, nor should anyone else.

Gen. Kelly said he was “stunned” when he discovered Wilson listened in on the call from the President to Sgt. La David T. Johnson’s widow, and even more enraged that the deaths of soldiers are no longer “sacred” in America.

Check it out:

“I was stunned when I came to work yesterday morning and broken-hearted at what I saw a member of Congress doing. A member of Congress who listened in on a phone call from the President of the United States to a young wife and in his way tried to express that opinion. He is a brave man.”

Kelly continued telling reporters that he was so upset that he went to Arlington National Cemetery to walk among our nation’s true heroes, some of whom he “put there” through his own orders.

The President also forcefully rejected the claims from Wilson in a Wednesday tweet.

However, just like with everything else, nothing Trump says will satisfy the rabid leftists in the media. So hopefully Gen. Kelly’s powerful commentary finally puts the kibosh on this fake news story once and for all.
