Dean James III% AMERICA’S FREEDOM FIGHTERS –
Focus on the Family, a Christian organization has spearheaded a national movement called “Bring Your Bible To School Day” which encourages students all across America bringing their Bibles to school and “express their faith freely.” What a fantastic idea!
The group launched the event last year and an estimated 8,000 kids participated. This year they are expecting 100,000 kids to participate!

This is a day when thousands of students will share God’s hope and celebrate religious freedom–#BringYourBible to School Day!
Twitter was lighting up on Thursday morning with the hashtag #BringYourBible featuring photos of children and adults who are bringing their Bibles to school in an effort to stand up for their Christian faith.
Here are just some of the photos:

Robert Rich at Mad World News adds this:
Even Franklin Graham got in on the action with words of encouragement for those who brought their Bibles to school.
“Let no one despise you for your youth but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity” #BringYourBible

Unfortunately, as “Bring Your Bible to School Day” takes place on October 8th, that day has since come and gone. But those wishing to express their love for Christ and show they aren’t afraid to declare their faith, don’t have to wait until next year. In America, you can bring your Bible to school any day, and I dare someone to say otherwise.
If they jumped a staggering 92,000 participants in just one year – imagine what next year will look like. Imagine what any day could look like if we exercised our Freedom of Religion every day. It’s our God-given right under the Constitution, and we should carry our Bibles with us more often than most of us do.
Although we don’t need a specific day to declare our faith, I just have to point out that this particular day of solidarity and Christian pride couldn’t have come at a more appropriate time. Just days after a gunman shot up a school in Oregon specifically targeting Christians by asking their faith, Christians are coming forward to say “we’re not afraid to say what we believe in.”
Amen brother! Christians SHOULD be able to express our faith every day without fear of being persecuted. After all, this IS America!
