We are saddened to report that Heather North, an actress best known for voicing Daphne Blake on the “Scooby-Doo” cartoon series, has died in California. She was just 71-years-old.

Now, you may not recognize her name and I admit that I didn’t but you will recognize her work.

Family friend Jodie Mann told the Hollywood Reporter that North died at her home in Studio City, near Hollywood, after a long illness.
