BREAKING: Liberal Elites In PANIC MODE After Trump Announces NEW Office In White House

New Office Tasked With Swamp Draining. Here’s The Plan:

The swamp is about to be drained! The President announced Sunday night that there would be a new office opening within the White House and that it would be tasked with making changes to the federal bureaucracy to improve efficiency.

It will be called the Office of American Innovation and it will led by President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Kushner plans to enable Trump’s government to run like a “great American company,” and that goal is in line with the platform the president announced during his campaign.

While on the trail, Trump often spoke about adapting the government to a business mentality and Kushner plans to clear the way of clutter so that he can do so.

Working with private industry leaders like Tim Cook, Kushner will map out areas to dismantle or improve within the scores of departments underneath the purview of the Executive Branch.

The Washington Post was the first to report on the new office Sunday night and a spokesman from the White House has confirmed that an official announcement would be out Monday:

“All Americans, regardless of their political views, can recognize that government stagnation has hindered our ability to properly function, often creating widespread congestion and leading to cost overruns and delays,” Trump said in a statement to the Post. “I promised the American people I would produce results, and apply my ‘ahead of schedule, under budget’ mentality to the government.”

The WSJ also reports that a couple of Trump’s senior staffers will serve alongside Kushner:

Mr. Kushner’s innovation office will be staffed primarily by Chris Liddell and Reed Cordish, two senior aides in the White House. The pair have taken lead roles in the initial planning of Mr. Trump’s call for a $1 trillion infrastructure package.
Mr. Liddell’s résumé includes executive-level jobs at Microsoft, General Motors and International Paper, as well as a role on the Trump transition team.
Mr. Cordish is a Maryland real-estate developer whose family is close to Mr. Trump.
