Last week, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio urged New Yorkers not to eat at Chick fil-A because of their ‘anti-gay’ stand and even called for a boycott. Let’s just say, things didn’t quite work out the way he wanted.

In fact, his plan totally backfired!

The two midtown Manhattan locations are doing big business, with people lining up around the block to get their food!

In fact, the chain is doing so well in the Big Apple that 12 new locations are expected to pop up around the city over the next year.

According to The New York Post, Chick-fil-A is beating McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s and Subway with average sales per store of $3.15 million a year.

The family-owned company has unusual standards, requiring franchisees to adhere to its moral code of ethics.

For example, all restaurants are closed on Sunday to allow operators to attend church and spend time with their families — an edict handed down by late founder S. Truett Cathy.

As you know, Chick-fil-A has stood up to the LGBT agenda, backs Law Enforcement, helps out the homeless, honors our veterans and promotes Christian values. They also have delicious food!

Here’s what Rev. Graham had to say about the liberal Mayor’s boycott in his Facebook post:

“Can you imagine a city where a popular, successful business is singled out and attacked by the mayor who calls for a boycott—all because the business owners let it be known that they operate by Christian principles and believe in God’s definition of marriage?”

“You don’t have to imagine. That’s exactly what just happened to one of America’s most successful businesses. Chick-fil-A has almost 2000 restaurants and sales of more than $6 billion annually.”

“You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone that doesn’t like their chicken sandwiches—and their high quality service.”

“I have known the owners of Chick-fil-A, the Cathy family, for many years and have great respect for them. They just opened a new store in New York and Mayor De Blasio took the gloves off and came after them, calling for a boycott.”

“Doesn’t this sound like bullying, intolerance, and discrimination? All because someone won’t roll over to the LGBT agenda.”

“I hope Chick-fil-A has record sales in their New York stores—and tell them how much you appreciate them in the comments below.”

Targeting Christians is perfectly acceptable in the eyes of the left.

Even with the liberal media’s ruthless attacks, Chick-fil-A continues to grow in popularity.

They are a great company and our hats go off to them for their courage, strong values and generosity.
