On Friday, President Trump signed two executive orders dealing with refugees from the Middle East, and the left has been having a total meltdown over them.

The orders are designed to prevent radical Islamic terrorists from coming to America by suspending the refugee program for 120 days until a new vetting procedure can be implemented and also suspending the Syrian refugee program indefinitely, the Daily Beast reported. As you can imagine, liberals are really, really unhappy with Trump following through on his campaign promise.

Anyway, you get the idea. As totally expected, liberals are having yet another meltdown, but they’re missing something entirely.

Trump’s executive order isn’t only legal, the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952 gives him the explicit authority to do exactly what he did. No, seriously.

Section 212(f) reads:

“Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

Granted, it’s a known fact that liberals only like the law when it’s a law they agree with, but that’s beside the point. The fact of the matter is that not only is Trump legally authorized to implement such a ban, he’s obligated to do so as out commander-in-chief if he feels we’re placed in danger by so-called “refugees.”

Considering nearly every Western nation that’s accepted refugees en-masse has found itself with serious problems, it’s safe to say that they pose a danger to our people and our culture.
