In the wake of the horrific massacre in Las Vegas that ISIS claimed responsibility for, there appears to have been another terror attack, this time with a car.

The city of London has once again found itself as the target of what appears to have been a deliberate attempt by an individual to injure and maim the innocent after jumping a curb and plowing through a group of pedestrians along the side of the road. Details are slim, but police reportedly detained a suspect in the incident and are now trying to figure out exactly what happened.

More from the U.K. Mirror:

Multiple people have been injured after a car allegedly ploughed into pedestrians outside London’s Natural History Museum.

Shocked eyewitnesses described how the vehicle “drove into people” near the famous museum, with victims seen being treated in the street.

Police confirmed a number of people had been wounded, although the extent of their injuries is unclear.

Dramatic footage appeared to show a man being pinned on the ground by security officers.

In the clip, he can be seen being held in the street in South Kensington, west London, surrounded by members of the public and stationary vehicles.

Scotland Yard said a man had been detained at the scene.

Twitter immediately lit up with tweets from the area as soon as the news broke:

A picture of the alleged suspect also surfaced:

As conservative commentator Katie Hopkins put it, London just simply is no longer worth the risk to visit:

One Twitter user aptly noted that we shouldn’t be surprised by such attacks anymore:

This is obviously a fluid situation. We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
