An 84-year-old veteran, Doug Jandebeur is being hailed as a hero after turning the tables on an unsuspecting robber.

Surveillance footage shows the thug approach Mr. Jandebeur as he’s getting into his truck outside his business in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The thug grabs Mr. Jandebeur from behind, punches him in the face and grabs his wallet. The thug headed to a door where Mr. Jandebeur’s wife was and that’s when the 84-year old puled out his handgun! The thief saw the gun and ran away as fast as he could! Great job Doug!

“I pulled out my automatic and was getting ready to ventilate him,” Mr. Jandebeur said, adding “Once he saw my gun, he decided it was time to leave.”

“Anybody that doesn’t arm themselves is asking for trouble,” Mr. Jandebeur said.

Jandebeur has a sore jaw from being sucker punched but otherwise he is doing fine. The suspect is still at large but the surveillance video captured a clean shot of the thugs face.
