UNREAL: After MAJOR Backlash Over NFL Protests, Team Tells Patriotic Fans STAY HOME

The controversy over the NFL doesn’t seem to be going away any time soon; however, commentary from players on the Tennessee Titans certainly isn’t going to help.

We previously reported that the NFL is already seeing massive ratings drops as upset fans are simply tuning out instead of watching spoiled millionaires complain about imaginary oppression. That news came as reports surfaced of the league losing over $200 million in ad revenues from advertisers refusing to pay as much for slots with less viewers.

Additionally, fans across the country have taken to social media to post videos of themselves burning gear from their lifelong teams.

In other words, this entire ordeal is costing the NFL…big time.

With that in mind, one would think that if teams wanted to start working to bring their fans back, they’d actually try to fix the mess they’re in. However, you’d be wrong…dead wrong.

Following Sunday’s protest from the Tennessee Titans, which saw the entire team remain in the locker room for the playing of the national anthem, players with the audacity to be upset with the fans – yes, the fans – for their displeasure over their on-field antics have a message that’s not going to sit too well – stay home.

No, seriously.

“First off, I’m going to say this: We’re not disrespecting the military, the men and women that serve in the Army. That’s not what it’s all about,” Titans tight end Delanie Walker told The Tennessean. “I support the troops. This is not about that. It’s about equal rights, and that’s all everyone is trying to show, is that we all care about each other.”

The problem is this isn’t about what they say it is, it’s about what the fans perceive it to be, and taking a knee during our National Anthem is seen as a sign of blatant disrespect to everything he mentioned. After all, Rosa Parks didn’t sit outside homeless shelters and protest, did she?

No. She protested the root of the problem.

Regardless, Walker had the following to say to any patriot out there who’s upset.

“And the fans that don’t want to come to the game? I mean, OK. Bye. I mean, if you feel that’s something, we’re disrespecting you, don’t come to the game. You don’t have to. No one’s telling you to come to the game. It’s your freedom of choice to do that.”

That’s certainly going to win them over.

Doubling down on Walker’s comments was cornerback Logan Ryan, who told fans to tune out if they don’t want to see their team disrespecting the flag.

“That’s their choice. That’s the beauty of this country,” Ryan said. “Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and everyone’s opinion is equal. So right, wrong or indifferent, that’s the beauty of this country,” he explained. “If they don’t want to watch, that’s their choice. That’s perfect.”

Right, and when you idiots start losing money because people are tuning out, as you said they should, you’ll all start crying racism. We know this trick. We’ve seen it before.

The NFL has a massive PR disaster on their hands, and if they don’t do something to get it under control quickly, they’re going to be in major, major trouble.
