“I’m not trying to glorify this. I believe however it turns out it will be a very, very kinetic, physical, violent fight over some really, really tough ground and everybody is going to have to be mentally prepared.”

General Neller  emphasized to Marines in the field, he warned they had to be ready to fight: “When they train, they have to keep in the back of their mind, they have to be (ready) physically, mentally, and always their spirit has to be steeled and ready for serious conflict that’s going to test them beyond anything they have ever done in their lives, that was my only intent. And I’ll say that as long as I’m in this office because that’s my job.”
Neller said the US would have to be ready for unexpected circumstances given the amount of ground artillery North Korea has on hand. But he made clear that all the US military services have prepared for a variety of scenarios including familiarization with North Korean terrain.
North Korea’s artillery is extremely dangerous because of how many North Korea has ready 24/7 to go lethal hot, plus they have chemical and biological artillery rounds.
A report released by The Nuclear Threat Initiative gives the blunt truth that North Korea not only has Sarin and VX but that these deadly agents are loaded in artillery rounds and ready to be fired at any given moment.
North Korea may possess between 2,500 and 5,000 tons of CW agents. [8] The South Korean government assesses that North Korea is able to produce most types of chemical weapons indigenously, although it must import some precursors to produce nerve agents, which it has done in the past. [9] At maximum capacity, North Korea is estimated to be capable of producing up to 12,000 tons of CW. Nerve agents such as Sarin and VX are thought be to be the focus of North Korean production.
In an article I wrote for RWT, I covered North Korea’s ICBM’s and biological and chemical warheads,  while assessing CW stockpiles and capabilities are difficult, the DPRK is thought to be among the world’s largest possessors of chemical weapons, ranking third after the United States and Russia.

North Korea is performed tests on mounting anthrax onto intercontinental ballistic missiles that would strike the U.S., a report said on Wednesday just two days after the White House’s U.S. National Security Strategy stated Kim Jong Un is pursuing chemical and biological weapons, Fox News reports.

The Hermit Kingdom is began experiments to test out if anthrax can endure immense heat and pressure it will have to endure when loaded into an ICBM and launched toward the earth’s atmosphere, Japan’s Asahi newspaper reported, citing an unidentified person connected to South Korea’s intelligence services.

One of the main issues on why the conflict has not turned kinetic as of yet, is that the United States needs to ensure our soldiers are ready and prepared for the chemical and biological weapons from North Korea, the extreme terrain and battle conditions.
