A California man claims he was served hamburger that had raw burger meat in his meal from a McDonald’s in Merced, California and he posted a photo on social media to prove it.

Christian Knight, 33, says he ordered a Quarter Pounder at the fast food location and drove home. He ate half of the burger before realizing that something was wrong.

“I felt sick immediately,” he told The Daily Meal, after he removed the bun. He stopped eating and took a photo to document the evidence, which he posted to his personal Facebook page. He told us that a few hours later, he experienced stomach cramping, diarrhea, and vomiting.

“I actually took a few bites after I thought it tasted a little strange and the texture was off… By the time I opened it that’s how much I had eaten. I was hungry, it was the afternoon, and I hadn’t eaten yet that day. That’s why I ate the rest of my nuggets and fries after I stopped eating my burger. The old lady however, couldn’t even finish her meal at the sight of what I had been eating!”, Knight said.

Knight said he tried to reach out to the McDonald’s, located across the street from Merced High School, but they did not answer. He has not yet tried to contact McDonald’s corporate office but has kept the rest of the raw burger in his refrigerator, along with his receipt.

Yeah, that’s pretty gross.

The Daily Meal attempted to call the location but no one answered the phone. We also reached out to corporate and will update this story when we get a response.

This isn’t the first time Knight has had a bad experience with McDonald’s.

He reportedly got sick twice before after eating fish filet sandwiches which resulted in diarrhea and vomiting…

“They do cook chicken and fish there, and the other two times I was sick from this location, was the same symptoms, so maybe it’s a cross contamination issue or something! Either way people are getting sick and it’s becoming a public health and safety issue! I am merely bringing attention to the matter as this is the third time. First two times were fish fillets, this was the first time with beef!”, Knight said.

 

You would think that this young man would realize that McDonald’s sucks but he says he loves McDonald’s and plans on continuing to eat there. He also seems to have been contacted by McDonald’s.

“I don’t like getting sick from fish fillets or quarter pounders and only hope that I will not have to fear of getting sick again from this or any other McDonald’s location,” he said.

“I like McDonald’s and will continue to shop at my local McDonald’s. I only want to make sure everyone is safe. Thank you very much,” he concluded.

We spoke with Knight and he seems like a good guy.

We wish him the best and hope he doesn’t get sick again.

Next time tell them you want it cooked well done- you may have to wait a few minutes but it will be worth it.
