BOMBSHELL NEWS About Media Matters…. This Could Put People In PRISON!!!

David Brock of Media Matters for America has apparently made it his personal mission in life to take down as many Republican and Conservative candidates as possible with the ultimate goal of impeaching President Donald Trump.

To accomplish that end, Brock’s Media Matters is granting hundreds of thousands of dollars in charitable funds to left-leaning political groups across the nation.

Media Matters for America is registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with tax-exempt status. In order to maintain that non-profit status, an organization is barred from participating in political activity be that through funding or otherwise whether it be in support or in opposition to a candidate. But apparently, in yet another bout of blatant liberal hypocrisy, those rules appear not to apply to Brock or to Media Matters.

According to the Daily Caller –

“Media Matters for America granted $200,000 in 2016 to a Brock organization, though it is unclear if it was American Bridge 21st Century Foundation or a super PAC sharing its name, American Bridge 21st Century PAC, according to the non-profit’s 2016 financial statements and filings with the IRS…”

Brock’s organizations have a lengthy history of political behavior and Media Matters is currently facing a Federal Election Commission complain detailing schemes to hide donor identities involving both the foundation and super PAC detailing how Brock has sought to allow for the funneling of untraceable millions.  Millions that cannot be sourced to their donors as they wage war against conservative and GOP causes around the nation.

Many of the groups in Brock’s network, including Media Matters and the various arms of American Bridge, are situated just over a mile from the White House and the U.S. Capitol, in two floors of an office building in Northwest D.C. These entities also have entered into cost-sharing agreements, which are at the center of the ongoing FEC complaint.

The IRS code for how 501(c)3 non-profit organizations are required to conduct themselves in order to maintain that tax-exempt status is very explicit.  They “are absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office.” If indeed Media Matters is using the money that it receives via charitable donations to fund political activities, and they would be hard-pressed to prove that they are not given their active involvement in the mainstream media and given their expressed and explicit stated purposed right now is the impeachment of President Trump by their own admission, then the IRS would have legal grounds to revoke their tax exempt status.

After Hillary Clinton won the primary in the 2016 election, Brock via Media Matters that the organization’s express purpose was that of “exposing what it considers to be news coverage stacked against” Clinton. The group’s major message was “that a shameful false equivalence was causing the media to soft-pedal Mr. Trump’s many transgressions and overplay the few it could find on Mrs. Clinton.”

Now we find that a film company known as Brave New Films is financing an effort to revisit the accusations of three women that accused President Donald Trump of sexual misconduct during the contentious 2016 presidential election. The accusations were complete with a Megyn Kelly hit piece interview featuring the three previously debunked accusers. Upon closer inspection, it appears that the liberal documentary team backed by George Soros features documentaries on liberal targets like the Koch Brothers, Fox News, and Rush Limbaugh. It also is an arm of ShareBlue Media, an American progressive news website owned by the journalist and political activist David Brock under the umbrella of Media Matters for America.

It also seems Media Matters likes the “funny math” as their reporting on a 2016 grant simply does not add up.  According to the Daily Caller –

“Media Matters reports the 2016 grant to AB Super PAC on its financial statements but never explicitly states what the funds are going towards. The non-profit says the grant is for something entirely different in its IRS filings.”

“The non-profit states in its 2016 IRS Form 990 that it granted the $200,000 not to the super PAC, but to the foundation for the purposes of ‘Educational Program(s).'”

“For its part, American Bridge 21st Century super PAC doesn’t report receiving $200,000 from Media Matters for America in 2016 in its IRS filings and the foundation hasn’t filed its Form 990, making it impossible at the current time to confirm the grant.

There is a contradiction in the reporting of the $200,000 amount in either Media Matters financial disclosures or with American Bridge super PAC.

David Brock and American Bridge did not respond to multiple requests for clarification about the reporting discrepancy of the grant.

American Bridge Super PAC is outwardly working on a campaign to impeach President Donald Trump and put progressives into elected office at all levels of government. If the $200,000 was granted to the super PAC and is not recognized in PAC’s filings, it calls into question what those funds were used towards (i.e. political activity for or against a candidate).

American Bridge 21st Century PAC is, simply put, a bastion of the Democratic Party and liberal organizations. It provides talking points, opposition research and rapid response to progressive candidates nationwide. Brock’s PAC places well over $300 million worth of its research in political advertisements and it has huge plans for the upcoming 2020 election cycle.

Brock personally laid out the PAC’s mission through the 2020 election cycle in the memo. The top initiatives include defeating Trump, “either through impeachment or at the ballot box,” and changing “the balance of power by measurably impacting US Senate, gubernatorial, and state legislative races.”

‘American Bridge will make running as a Republican candidate in the next four years painful,’ the memo reads. ‘We will not only damage Trump, but also the candidates who enable and support him.'”

It is important to note that regardless of any stated goals of the organization a 501(c) non-profit such as Media Matters cannot and should not give to political organizations for the express purpose of defeating or electing a candidate….that means ANY candidate.  However, the case could be made if Media Matters can indeed PROVE the $200,000 in question was indeed given to the foundation for “educational programs” as they reported an effort to “explain” then there is still the matter of Media Matters also giving money outwardly to political organizations – this would ALSO necessitate a loss of tax exemption as it pertains to a number of Brock held entities.

Even just a brief and cursory glance at Media Matters “work” shows that it produces little other than politically motivated opposition to both President Trump and right-leaning causes across the nation. Media Matters claims itself the primary and foremost authority on what is true and correct narrative in any given media reporting, making its mission to out the “offending media institutions.” Based on who’s standards is anyone’s guess.

Directly from the Media Matters for America’s website –

Media Matters posts rapid-response items as well as longer research and analytic reports documenting conservative misinformation throughout the media. Additionally, Media Matters works daily to notify activists, journalists, pundits, and the general public about instances of misinformation, providing them with the resources to rebut false claims and to take direct action against offending media institutions.

Naturally, this appears to be quite the lucrative venture for Brock as he also draws a hefty salary from all the groups under the Media Matters for America network making him millions and one of the most powerful liberal political activists. Brock’s former domestic partner, William Grey, threatened to expose “derogatory information about Brock and his organization to the press and donors that would be embarrassing to him and cause harm to the organization,” according to a 2010 police report.  The threat clearly had weight as it ultimately led to an $850,000 payout for Grey, according to a 2012 Fox News report.

Brock is was also previously involved with James Alefantis, the owner of Comet Ping Pong Pizza in Washington, D.C. Comet Ping Pong was made a household name due to the #PizzaGate scandal involving Hillary Clinton and the Podesta brothers with a child trafficking ring.  Some consider Pizzagate to be true and yet others dismiss as a ridiculous conspiracy theory.
