Sassy Liberty AMERICA’S FREEDOM FIGHTERS –
Vice President Mike Pence made an unannounced stop to the demilitarized zone between North and South Korea landing his Blackhawk on a baseball field at Camp Bonifas.
The visit comes amidst growing tensions between the U.S. and North Korea and just one day after North Korea’s latest failed missile launch.
North Korea attempted to launch a ballistic missile on Sunday off its east coast but failed as have all previous attempts.
This most recent attempt came one day after North Korea held a military parade showing off its latest missiles.
Pence was briefed on the launch while en route to South Korea.

Pence spent Easter Sunday with members of the U.S. and South Korean military in Seoul as a means of affirming the American commitment to the country.
Pence stated –
“This morning’s provocation from the north is just the latest reminder of the risks each one of you face each and every day in the defense of the freedom of the people of South Korea and the defense of America in this part of the world. Let me assure you that under President Trump’s leadership our resolve has never been stronger, our commitment to this historic alliance with the courageous people of South Korea has never been stronger and with your help and God’s help freedom will ever prevail on this peninsula.“
It seems no coincidence that this most recent missile launch took place just one day after the 105th birthday of North Korea’s founder, the late Kim Il Sung, grandfather of the current leader, Kim Jong Un.
North Korea attempted to launch a ballistic missile on Sunday off its east coast but failed as have all previous attempts. This most recent attempt came one day after North Korea held a military parade showing off its latest missiles. The North Korean regime paraded intercontinental ballistic missiles in a massive military display in central Pyongyang, with Kim looking on. North Korea has conducted two nuclear tests and about two dozen missile tests in the last year.
Last week, President Trump ordered a naval strike group led by an aircraft carrier to the Western Pacific Ocean as a show of force. U.S. officials continue to weigh the possibility of increased economic sanctions on North Korea while continuing to show U.S. support for South Korea at this time.
God Bless.
