Voter fraud is going to be a major problem for Republicans going into the future, says Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

During a speech hosted by the Remembrance Project, Fitton warned that rampant voter fraud could be the downfall of the GOP if they don’t put a stop to it as soon as possible. He asserted that illegal aliens are voting in large enough numbers to “change the outcome of elections,” and that at least 1.1 million of them cast a ballot in favor of Hillary Clinton last election.

“By my estimation, we had about one and a half million illegal alien votes in the last election, 1.4 million by my guess,” Fitton told the crowd.

He also said the number of illegals voting could be as high as six million, of which a whopping 80 percent vote Democrat.

“1.1 million by that calculation voted for Hillary Clinton….so we really face a crisis in this regard,” he cautioned.

According to Fitton, the entire debate over amnesty isn’t about Hispanic votes, but instead illegal votes, and “every illegal vote,” he said, “is a civil rights violation.”

“It’s one thing to lose your country because you have no borders, it’s another thing to lose your country because you have no vote,” said Fitton, adding there’s no point in policy discussions “if elections are stolen through illegal votes.”

Fitton’s assertions appear to be reinforced by a study conducted by the research organization Just Facts, which found that up to at least 5.7 ineligible voters cast ballots in 2008, the year Obama won his first election.

From the Washington Times:

Just Facts’ conclusions confront both sides in the illegal voting debate: those who say it happens a lot and those who say the problem nonexistent.

In one camp, there are groundbreaking studies by professors at Old Dominion University in Virginia who attempted to compile scientifically derived illegal voting numbers using the Harvard data, called the Cooperative Congressional Election Study.

On the other side are the professors who conducted the study and contended that “zero” noncitizens of about 18 million adults in the U.S. voted. The liberal mainstream media adopted this position and proclaimed the Old Dominion work was “debunked.”

The ODU professors, who stand by their work in the face of attacks from the left, concluded that in 2008 as few as 38,000 and as many as 2.8 million noncitizens voted.

Mr. Agresti’s analysis of the same polling data settled on much higher numbers. He estimated that as many as 7.9 million noncitizens were illegally registered that year and 594,000 to 5.7 million voted.

President Trump has repeatedly stated that millions of illegal votes helped Hillary Clinton “win” the “popular vote” in our country, which means little but still gave her and her supporters something to hang their hat on. While the media has repeatedly decried his claims as “fake news,” the facts of the matter seem to point to something else entirely.
