Kentucky Senator and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is no friend of conservatives.

Time and time again he’s abandoned his base to either side with Democrats or simply sell us out to his donors, and true to form, he’s doing the same with Alabama Judge Roy Moore, who recently became the victim of a leftist witch hunt.

Last week, the Washington Compost ran a hit piece against Moore, in which four different women claim he committed some sort of sexual impropriety. The report caused known RINOs like Mitt Romney and John McCain to almost immediately disavow Moore, completely abandoning our most cherish legal principle of presumed innocent until guilt is proven.

In fact, Romney, who failed miserably at trying to win the White House, specifically said that innocent until proven guilty isn’t for elections, only the courts. Others like him have echoed similar sentiments while calling for Moore to immediately step down.

Now, it appears as if McConnell is siding with the demonic forced attempting to take down the Judge. The Free Beacon reported that not only is McConnell saying he “believes” the women accusing Moore, but that he wants Moore to “step aside” in the Senate race.

Check it out:

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) said Monday that he believes the women who have accused Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore of sexual misconduct.

“Do you believe these allegations to be true?” a Louisville reporter asked McConnell.

“I believe the women, yes,” McConnell responded.

McConnell also told reporters Monday after visiting a plant in Kentucky that Moore “should step aside” in light of the allegations against him.

Keep in mind, thus far, nothing has been proven and there’s been absolutely zero evidence Moore did anything wrong. Worse yet, the stories from his accusers don’t seem to be holding up to scrutiny, as this reporter previously documented for the Right Wing Tribune.

Moore has maintained his innocence from the start, and according to a report from Breitbart News earlier today, he intends on fighting to clear his good name by suing the Washington Compost for their defamatory reporting.

Judge Roy Moore, the GOP nominee for the United States Senate, announced Sunday evening at an event that he plans to sue the Washington Post for its series of hit pieces against him, his wife, his foundation, and his campaign.

Breitbart News was granted exclusive access to the event, which was closed to the press. After the Judge’s speech, his wife Kayla spoke out in a forthcoming exclusive Breitbart News interview — her first-ever interview with the press during this campaign and the first time she has spoken out publicly in response to the salacious allegations from the Post.

“So I was wondering where they got that idea—they talked about control of the money, we didn’t have control of the money,” Moore said. “Anyway, to make a long story short, they kind of failed. So about 30 days before the general election, just the other day, the Washington Post published another attack on my character and reputation because they are desperate to stop my political campaign. These attacks said I was with a minor child and are false and untrue—and for which they will be sued.”

Give ’em hell, Judge! We’re tired of these baseless and defamatory attacks from the left against good, Christian men!
