They say pimpin’ ain’t easy, but being a thug is a lot harder. When you’re driving around shooting people to keep your street cred up, you just never know who you might hit. Take for instance a 20-year old dipsh*t from Michigan who accidentally killed his girlfriend in a drive-by shooting because he was trying to protect his reputation.

Mlive tells us that David Gordon was in a relationship with 23-year old Allysha Tomlin. Sure, she was a couple years older and had twin babies by a different man, but it was love.

On Sunday night, Gordon was at Tomlin’s apartment when the father of her twins showed up. Gordon needed to assert his dominance so he and the unnamed baby daddy got into an altercation.

Gordon must have lost the fight because he ended up running away.

With his ego bruised, the aspiring gangsta thug decided the best way to impress his lady would be to kill the father of her child. Gordon grabbed a gun and talked a friend into driving back over to Tomlin’s apartment.

Granted, this wasn’t the most well thought out plan, but it was all Gordon could come up with on short notice.

Forgetting that “black lives matter” he aimed the gun at his girlfriend’s apartment and fired several shots. He probably sped away thinking he had preserved his reputation and showed his girl that he was a man that could take care of business.

“He shot up the house believing the other guy was still there,” said Derrick Jackson of the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office.

Rather than make a point or take out a rival, what Gordon actually did was kill his girlfriend.

One of the bullets struck Allysha Tomlin in the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The father of her children called police. He was unhurt and not charged in the incident.
