Muslims Take Break To Pray To Allah At Work, Boss Gives Them THIS Special ‘GIFT’

A Wisconsin manufacturing plant just gave their Muslim employees a huge reality check and let’s just say, they aren’t too happy.

Businesses that employ Muslims bend over backwards to accommodate their ‘prayer breaks.’ This ends up costing money, seeing as they refuse to pray to Allah during the designated break time.

Ariens Manufacturing in Green Bay, which employs 53 Somalian Muslims finally got sick of it and took action. The employees were handed a nice UNEMPLOYMENT FORM!

According to WBAY, when the Muslim workers left their positions to go pray,  they were given an unemployment form from the supervisor.

The new company policy dictates that any praying must be done during scheduled break times- PERIOD.

A spokesperson for the company said in a statement, in part:

“We are asking employees to pray during scheduled breaks in designated prayer rooms. Our manufacturing environment does not allow for unscheduled breaks in production.”

The Muslims say that this goes against Muslim practice. Too bad. Get lost then!

“If someone tells you, ‘You pray on your break,’ and the break time is not the prayer time? It will be impossible to pray,” a Green Bay Masjid Imam Hasan Abdi told WBAY.

A former employee, Ibrahim Mehemmed said, “We pray by the time. So they say, ‘If you don’t pray at the break time,’ they give us this [unemployment] paper to just leave.”

“We are open to any of the employees returning to work under the new policy or will look for openings in shifts that do not coincide with prayer time,” read a statement from Ariens. “We respect their faith, and we respect their decision regardless of their choice to return to work or not.”

The law listed by the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission clearly states that “an employer does not have to accommodate an employee’s religious beliefs or practices if doing so would cause undue hardship to the employer… [such as] decreased efficiency.”

10 of the Muslims have decided to stay employed while the other 43 opted to leave.

Sean Brown at Mad World News adds this:

Everyone has the right to practice the religion of their choosing, but they shouldn’t expect everyone else to accommodate them while they practice it, and that’s what happens with employers. Nobody else gets to leave work for up to 15 minutes twice a day to go kneel on a rug, outside of already scheduled breaks, so why would any company allow only Muslims to do so?

Kudos to Ariens for leveling the playing field for everyone at their company and doing away with special favors for only a few. Equality is just that – treating everyone equally – and just as an employer wouldn’t let someone go pray to the flying spaghetti monster five times a day, they shouldn’t be making special accommodations for anyone else to pray to their “God” either.
