N. Korea Threatens To Drop NUCLEAR BOMB On This American City

North Korea has issued a threat to the United States that they have their sights set on NUKING NEW YORK!

Just weeks before President Trump took office he tweeted the following:

“North Korea just stated that it is in the final stages of developing a nuclear weapon capable of reaching parts of the U.S. It won’t happen!”

Within weeks the 45th President would see his first potential global crisis as the Communist country began the testing of both nuclear weapons and the inter-continental ballistic missiles that could deliver them to their targets, Mac Slavo at SHTF reports.

Tensions continued to rise as Trump began a naval mobilization of three fully loaded carrier strike groups to the region, signaling that the United States would no longer follow the “patient diplomacy” policies of his predecessors. Even China  reportedly mobilized 150,000 troops to their border, followed by a similar Russian mobilization.

One would think that the threat of total annihilation by the U.S. military would be enough to deter the North Korean leadership, but Kim Jong Un seemingly refuses to back down.

As reported by Foreign Policy magazine, a press release from state-controlled Rodong Sinmun newspaper makes it clear that the North is prepared to engage in all-out war:

“Trump blustered early this year that the DPRK’s final access to a nuclear weapon that can reach the U.S. mainland will never happen.

But the strategic weapons tests conducted by the DPRK clearly proved that the time of its ICBM test is not a long way off at all.”

And, in case that wasn’t perfectly clear, the article also stated: “The DPRK is about 10,400 km far away from New York. But this is just not a long distance for its strike today.”

North Korea wasn’t ready in January to test an ICBM. That now seems to have changed.

Though North Korea’s nuclear and ballistic missile capabilities remain shrouded in mystery, some experts believe it may be possible for the country’s KN-08 missile system to deliver a nuclear warhead to U.S. shores.

North Korea’s nuclear threat is not limited to a bomb striking a U.S. city.

A nuclear bomb that detonates 40 miles above a target (and hundreds of miles away) could deliver serious consequences.

Detonation at that altitude of a nuclear warhead with a yield of 10 to 20 kilotons—similar to those tested by North Korea—would produce major EMP effects and inflict catastrophic damage to unhardened electronics across hundreds of miles of surface territory. It is a myth that large yield nuclear weapons of hundreds of kilotons are required to produce such effects.

As AFF has been reporting, tensions between North Korea and the U.S. have escalated for a lot of reasons.

North Korea threatened to “ruthlessly punish” U.S. citizens that they have unlawfully detained. Four Americans have been detained.

The dangerous threat comes on the heels of the announcement that they detained a fourth U.S. citizen for unspecified “acts of hostility aimed at overthrowing the country.”

The State Department was unable to comment specifically on the cases of the four Americans who have allegedly been arrested by the North Korean government.

“In regards to reports of recently detained U.S. citizens,” the State Department said, “we have no further comment due to privacy considerations.”

Also, Congress overwhelming voted to impose new sanctions on N.Korea for their continuous missile launches, which they aren’t happy about.

The committee of the North’s Supreme People’s Assembly denounced the sanctions as “the most heinous act against humanity that not only infringes upon the sacred sovereignty of (North Korea) but also arbitrarily violates universal principles of sovereign equality and non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries which run through the United Nations Charter.”

And, North Korea accused U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and South Korean intelligence services of plotting to assassinate dictator Kim Jong Un with a “biochemical substance.”
