The National Football League’s popularity has drastically plunged this month after players, coaches, and owners across the league protested the National Anthem.

AMERICA’S FREEDOM FIGHTERS  reported that as the entire nation knows, the league decided to jump feet-first into social justice politics and allow its players to blatantly disrespect the nation, our flag, and our National Anthem on the field before their games. The controversy started last year, but was brought into the spotlight when President Trump called out the disgraceful players for their anti-American antics.

Ever since, players, coaches, trainers, and owners have all staged protests against the President’s remarks, much to the displeasure of their fans.

As a result of their bullsh*t, the NFL is now the least popular among top professional or college sports.

Fox News reports that in the month of September positive ratings sank from 57 percent to 44 percent. Unfavorable ratings are at 40 percent.

Among a general sample of registered voters, September showed a drop in favorable ratings from 57 to 44 percent according to the Winston Poll from the Winston Group.

Unfavorable ratings went from 23 to 40 percent.

One important demographic, men ages 34-54 showed a more dramatic increase in disenchantment with the NFL.

That group went from 73 percent favorable and 19 percent unfavorable to 42 percent favorable and 47 percent unfavorable.

“Poll: NFL Sinks to Least Popular Top Professional or College Sport”

It happened over the course of a month – the same month the league decided to fight with the President.

Do you think they hear us now?

From the Washington Examiner [emphasis mine]:

Over just one month of playercoach, and owner protests of the flag and National Anthem, the National Football League has gone from America’s sport to the least liked of top professional and college sports, according to a new poll.

From the end of August to the end of September, the favorable ratings for the NFL have dropped from 57 percent to 44 percent, and it has the highest unfavorable rating – 40 percent – of any big sport, according to the Winston Group survey provided exclusively to Secrets.

Worse for football, which was already seeing lower TV ratings and empty stadium seats, the month of protests and complaints about them from President Trump drove core fans, men 34-54, away, the most significant indicator that NFL brass aren’t in touch with their base.

The Winston Poll from the Washington-based Winston Group found that the attitude of those fans went from an August rating of 73 percent favorable and 19 percent unfavorable to 42 percent favorable and 47 percent unfavorable, a remarkable turn against the sport.

That’s going to leave a mark.

When you upset the silent majority in this country, there’s consequences…severe consequences.

The Examiner outlined exactly where the NFL stands among other professional sports, and it really doesn’t look good.

August Winston Poll

  • MLB/61 percent favorable to 13 percent unfavorable.
  • NFL/57 percent favorable to 23 percent unfavorable.
  • College football/53 percent favorable to 16 percent unfavorable.
  • College basketball/48 percent favorable to 17 percent unfavorable.
  • NBA/47 percent unfavorable to 23 percent unfavorable.

September Winston Poll

  • MLB/63 percent favorable to 16 percent unfavorable.
  • College football/51 percent favorable to 21 percent unfavorable.
  • NBA/46 percent favorable to 28 percent unfavorable.
  • College basketball/45 percent favorable to 25 percent unfavorable.
  • NFL/44 percent favorable to 40 percent unfavorable.

Of course, the league only has Roger Goodell and the player’s union to thank, since both have not only allowed, but encouraged the anti-American demonstrations to persist, and now we know why. As it turns out, the NFL Player’s Union has partnered with George Soroson several different anti-Trump initiatives, with the NFLPU donating generously to Soros-connected groups over the years.
