BREAKING: NFL SHOCKED After Seeing Audience Size For Thursday Night Football [Pictures]

Sean Brown AMERICA’S FREEDOM FIGHTERS –

The NFL is in trouble…big trouble.

Ever since disgraced quarterback Colin Kaepernick started disrespecting the National Anthem on the field, the league has seen its stadium attendance and television viewership decline, and in a major way. In fact, yesterday it was reported that tickets to Thursday night’s game between the San Francisco 49ers and L.A. Rams were selling for less than the price of a two pretzels at 49ers stadium, where the game was played.

Additionally, the league stands to lose nearly $200 million in ad revenues this year as its ratings continue to drop and advertisers lose interest in buying up space during in the once-coveted slots.

From Breitbart:

After ratings for Week Two crashed, adding to the angst already felt by a poor showing in Week 1, industry insiders and analysts are sounding the alarm.

A new report claims that CBS, ESPN, Fox and NBC could take a $200 million hit to their estimated $2.5 billion in NFL advertising earnings if fans continue to turn off the TV, the The Hollywood Reporter noted recently.

The worries over earnings are not allayed by the fact that this season’s Week Two is the lowest mark for CBS since 1998. And the first two games of the season are down double-digits at a multi-year low compared to last year.

Yeah, it’s getting that bad. Apparently, the same fans who tune in as an escape from their daily lives, politics, and social activism, aren’t too happy about seeing social justice activism on the field during a game, so now they’re just tuning out.

Can you blame them?

As ratings and attendance continue to drop, fans in California sent a clear message to the league last night. As I said above, the teams could barely give the tickets away, and pictures from the event show the dismal turnout.

Kickoff time:

Ouch. But to show you it wasn’t just people showing up late, here’s a picture from the 2nd quarter:

Yikes. That’s just embarrassing.

It’s important to note, the 49ers were an 0-2 team going into the game, and now they’re 0-3 after losing to the Rams 41-39, but still. The turnout should have been much better, even for a crappy team in the third week of the season.

Don’t forget, San Francisco was ground zero for players disrespecting our country, which undoubtedly played into last night’s piss-poor attendance.

If the NFL wants to continue to allow social justice warriors to take a knee on the field and show their contempt for the nation that gave them everything, that’s up to the league. However, they shouldn’t act surprised when people simply tune that garbage out.

After all, the last thing the league’s middle-class audience wants to see is a bunch of millionaires whining about oppression and racism, as they’re paid ungodly amounts of money to chase a ball around a field by a league that’s comprised by a majority of black and minority players.
