The wife of Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio took to Twitter Monday to criticize President Trump’s comments on the team’s star Marshawn Lynch, who sat during the U.S. national anthem but stood for Mexico’s before Sunday’s game.

“President Trump I voted for you, which I now regret. Football is a powerful platform — here’s the charitable work we did in Mexico City #NFLproud,” Linda Del Rio tweeted, as reported by The San Francisco Chronicle.

Del Rio’s Twitter account appeared to be deactivated early Tuesday morning, Fox News reports.

President Donald Trump says the NFL should suspend Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch.

Lynch sat during most of the U.S. anthem and stood for the Mexican anthem before Sunday’s game against the Patriots at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, Fox News reports.

Lynch hasn’t stood for the national anthem since returning from retirement this season.

Trump tweeted early Monday: “Great disrespect! Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season. Attendance and ratings way down.”

The New York Daily News reported that Del Rio responded directly to Trump on Twitter, writing, “Take more time being president of the United States and less time trying to shame.”

Lynch has not been a public supporter of Trump. Earlier in the season, the star running back wore a shirt that read, “Everybody vs. Trump,” Right Wing Tribune reported.

Delisa Lynch, his mother, tweeted, “what NFL team do Trump own? oh yeah they wouldn’t let him have one, !! LMAO.”

Huny Badger at RIGHT WING TRIBUNE reports that Marshawn Lynch has had more, “get out of jail free” cards in his pocket than most NFL players, all because the NFL deems him as top talent.

When Lynch played for the Buffalo Bills in 2009, he was arrested for possession of a concealed firearm.

Culver City Police Department stated, “A subsequent field investigation led to the discovery of a loaded firearm,” the report said. “The officers determined the gun belonged to Lynch and he was arrested for possession of a concealed firearm.”

The Los Angeles County Sheriff Department’s inmate database says Lynch was booked at 7:12 p.m. and was released on a $35,000 bond at 8:45 p.m.

Lynch pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor gun charge and was sentenced to 80 hours community service and 3 years probation.   Police said they also found four marijuana cigarettes in the car, but no drug charges were filed.

In 2012, California police arrested Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch early in the morning morning on July 14, 2012 after he was allegedly seen weaving from lane to lane on a California highway. California Highway Patrol said Lynch had two near collisions with vehicles driving in adjacent lanes. When he was pulled over he reportedly showed no signs of intoxication. After multiple field sobriety tests, Lynch was arrested and booked into jail under investigation of DUI, where he was cited and later released.

Lynch plead guilty Friday in an Oakland, Calif., courtroom to the lesser charge of reckless driving, which will end his pending DUI case.

He received two years of probation as part of the plea bargain, along with a monetary fine.

Lynch has had multiple investigations from assault and battery to drugs, he was able to slip through those charges.

Marshawn Lynch has been sitting during the anthem and he supports Kaepernick and Black Lives Matter’s stupidity.

President Trump understands the disgrace and disrespect these clowns are carrying out when they kneel during the anthem.  Trump is time-on-target when he says that Lynch needs to be suspended for the rest of the year.

This issue is far from over and America needs to wake up, take a stand against this garbage that is polluting our national sports and in league with organizations that desire the fall of, what they call, “White America”.
