BREAKING: Liberals Were RIGHT, NRA DIRECTLY TIED To Texas Massacre

In the immediate aftermath of the Texas church massacre, leftists immediately directed their anger at the National Rifle Association for being responsible for the gruesome attack, and it turns out they were kind of right for a change.

Although while the left blamed the NRA for being the cause of the shooting, it turns out that just the opposite is true – the NRA actually was responsible for the shooting coming to an end. Local hero Stephen Willeford was the man who grabbed his own AR-15 and engaged the deranged shooter outside of the church, and on Monday night he opened up about the incident.

As it turns out, not only is Willeford a member of the NRA, but he’s a certified instructor for the organization as well, Breitbart News reported.

The hero who stopped Sunday’s Sutherland Springs, Texas, attack with an AR-15 is a former NRA instructor who retrieved his rifle after his daughter ran into his bedroom to tell him she heard gunshots at the church.

Looks like another leftist narrative was just shot straight to hell. But then again, there’s never been an NRA member who committed an atrocity like in Texas, so nobody’s entirely sure why the left keeps labeling it a terrorist organization.

During an emotional interview with KHBS, hero Willeford opened up about the terrifying experience of being in a gunfight with the madman at the church.

“Everytime I heard a shot I knew that probably represented a life,” he said. “I was scared to death. I was.”

“I was scared for me and I was scared for every one of them and I was scared for my own family that just lived less than a block away,” Willeford added.

The local plumber explained that he ran over to the church after loading a magazine for his rifle, then waited patiently for the shooter to emerge, before opening fire himself.

“He saw me and I saw him,” said Willeford. “I was standing behind a pickup truck for cover.”

That’s when he fired a round at the suspect, hitting him once in a small opening in the man’s body armor.

“I know I hit him,” Willeford said. “He got into his vehicle, and he fired another couple rounds through his side window.”

Willeford then waited for another opening.

“When the window dropped, I fired another round at him again,” he said.

That’s when the suspect entered his SUV and fled the scene. Thankfully, another local hero named Johnnie Langendorf had also heard what was going on and driven to the scene.

Willeford ran up to Langendorf’s truck, briefed him on the situation, then directed him to give chase. Langendorf didn’t think twice about chasing the suspect down.

When asked if he believes himself to be a hero, Willeford couldn’t have given a more humble response.

“I am no hero. I am no hero. I think my God, my Lord protected me and gave me the skills to do what needed to be done. And I just wish I could have gotten there faster but I didn’t know. I didn’t know what was happening.”

On behalf of the rest of the country, we salute you, Mr. Willeford. You did exactly the right thing, and we owe you a debt of gratitude for saving countless lives through your fearless actions.
