BREAKING: Obama Caves To Saudi Arabia BLACKMAIL, 9/11 Families FURIOUS…

Saudi Arabia has noticed we are being led by the weakest president in the history  of the United States.  They’ve decided to strong arm him.  In response to a bill currently going through the Congressional circuit, the House of Saud has threatened to sell off $750 billion worth of US assets.

Families of 9/11 victims called the Obama administration’s response to Saudi Arabian blackmail over a proposed law allowing families to sue the country a “slap in the face.”

The official reason is that they do not want to see three quarters of a trillion dollars frozen by US courts should any of the victims decide to follow through with a lawsuit.

The reality is they are looking to make a toothless bluff and see if President Obama has the guts to call them on it.

Most experts are convinced that this is nothing more than a bluff from the Sauds since in order to sell off that many assets they would have to throw their own economy into turmoil.

To put it into language that a terrorist from Saudi Arabai would understand, the US economy is so powerful it is like a suicide bomb — if anyone messes with it, the entire world will suffer from the reverberations that follow.

In this case, the Saudi Riyal (dollar) is pegged to the US currency, so anything that is done to destabilize the US dollar will only destabilize the Saudi Riyal as well.

Meanwhile, the bill in Congress has been met with unprecedented bipartisan support. “It is sponsored by Senator John Cornyn, Republican of Texas, and Senator Chuck Schumer, Democrat of New York” reports the New York Times.

But while the liberals from New York have managed to find common ground with the conservatives from Texas, the Obama administration has heavily lobbied against it–sparking outrage from some family members of 9/11 victims:

The Obama administration has lobbied Congress to block the bill’s passage, according to administration officials and congressional aides from both parties, and the Saudi threats have been the subject of intense discussions in recent weeks between lawmakers and officials from the State Department and the Pentagon.

“It’s stunning to think that our government would back the Saudis over its own citizens,” said Mindy Kleinberg, whose husband died in the World Trade Center on Sept. 11 and who is part of a group of victims’ family members pushing for the legislation.

Unbelievable. We need a president that stands with us–especially those of us mistreated by foreign nations.
