The specter of homeless encampments steadily expanding across the downtown streets of San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco – bringing with them a public health crisis – has one southern California community taking tough action to dismantle a two-mile-long camp just a short drive from Disneyland, Fox News reports.

“It’s becoming part of the permanent landscape in those communities and there is no way we are going to allow Orange County land that is supposed to be used by residents to be occupied by the homeless.” ~ Todd Spitzer Orange County Board of Supervisors

The homeless being kicked out of the area have been provided two options:

U.S. District Court Judge David Carter offered the choice of a bed in a shelter or a month-long motel voucher; medical aid; drug treatment; job training; storage for their belongings and housing for pets at the county animal shelter.

California is also the same state that provides sanctuary cities to illegal aliens and interferes with Federal warrants from Ice agents.  They purposely protect the illegal aliens but to the American people who are homeless on their streets, they say they are trash that need removed and never be allowed back.

Trash trucks and contractors in hazmat gear have descended on the camp and so far removed 250 tons of trash, 1,100 pounds of human waste and 5,000 hypodermic needles.

The Geller Report released an investigative report, The NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit surveyed 153 blocks of downtown San Francisco in search of trash, needles, and feces. The investigation revealed trash littered across every block. The survey also found 41 blocks dotted with needles and 96 blocks sullied with piles of feces.

Approximately a half-million people in the United States are homeless, with California accounting for 25 percent — the largest number of any state, according to a survey by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Orange County has 4,792 homeless.

A Los Angeles Times editorial over the weekend called the problem in the city a “national disgrace.”

California has “tent cities” that countless number of homeless people live in and the numbers grow daily.  Meanwhile the illegal aliens are provided homes, food stamps, medical care and jobs.  Talk about a disgrace and horrific treatment of American citizens.

California is also at the forefront of pushing anti-firearm laws and abolishing the 2nd Amendment, yet they have an epidemic of homeless people and no solution to help these people.

While a small percentage of the homeless live this way by choice, a large percentage used to have homes, families, jobs and goals in life.  It is the lack of employment, debt and the take over by banking systems that create a large portion of homeless across our nation.

The L.A. Times reports that scoundrels are taking advantage of the Motel and $75 weekly vouchers for food and supplies:

County Chief Executive Frank Kim said county workers are familiar with the people who have called the riverbed home. But that hasn’t stopped new people from arriving, he said.

“Just yesterday, I was out here and people would open up their cars and a bunch of other people would step out with their sleeping bags, looking for a motel voucher,” Kim said. “We want to be clear that vouchers are being offered only to the riverbed residents. But we will work with all the homeless to help connect them to other services they need.”

Opioids and narcotics are an epidemic across our nation and they destroy lives and communities. As the addicts need more and more on a daily basis to feed their addiction, they sell off everything they own, turn to crime and a very large percentage become homeless.

We need to shutdown the propaganda about firearms and 2nd Amendment and force people to focus on the real issues that plague our nation.

Moving the homeless might help a small few get their lives back on track, but for the rest, they will just use the vouchers to get their fix.
