A disabled veteran was thrown out of a Subway sandwich shop in Paterson, N.J. because he has a service dog. The manager is a Muslim and Muslims don’t like dogs. What in the hell DO they like? Oh yeah, goats…

Federal law is very clear: Dogs are recognized as service animals and all businesses open to the public, including restaurants, must allow them in.

ABC7’s Sarah Wallace reports:

Richard Hunter’s troubled life turned around in July when the U.S. Army veteran received a service dog from the non-profit group Dogs4Warriors. The 50-year-old suffers from severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

So, it was a big deal when Hunter finally took his son and a coworker to lunch a few weeks ago at a Subway restaurant in Paterson, New Jersey.

“This was huge to go out with my son for the first time in over ten years,” Hunter said.

The sign on the door seemingly said it all: “Service animals are welcome,” but Hunter claims the manager, later identified as Mitul Ahmed, said something very different.

“I may have been holding the door when he first said something. He said, ‘The dog is not allowed in here. Get the dog out of here,'” Hunter said.

To Muslims, dogs are “unclean”. In multiple passages in the Muslim Koran and Hadiths, dogs are denounced as “ruining prayers”, “deducting good deeds” and in one passage, a Muslim even has his dogs killed because “angels will not enter homes with dogs.

We have read for several years now how Muslim cab drivers in Minneapolis and several airports have kicked out blind passengers with guide dogs, or customers transporting alcohol.

Ok, fine. So let them ban dogs in Tehran or Gaza. This is America, and Sharia Law is not welcome here.

On the ABC7 site, Wallace has an extended interview with the owner Pathan, and his dishonesty is breathtaking.

The question now is: What is SUBWAY Worldwide going to DO about this outrage?
