BREAKING: Putin Just Made ULTIMATE Threat To President Trump… This Is Very BAD

President Vladimir Putin warned that the standoff between North Korea and the United States was close to spilling into a large-scale conflict and said it was a mistake to try to pressure Pyongyang into halting its nuclear missile program.

The Russian leader, whose nuclear-capable bombers recently overflew the Korean Peninsula in a show of force, said the situation had deteriorated so badly that it was now “balanced on the verge of a large-scale conflict.”

Putin refrained from outwardly criticizing President Trump, but said the U.S. leader was “not my bride, and I’m not his groom.”

Putin added North Korea would “rather eat grass” than abandon its nuclear and missile program in order to feel safe among world leaders. He also claimed leader Kim Jong Un was convinced he needed nuclear weapons to survive after what happened in Iraq and Libya.

At the Eastern Economic Forum held in Vladivostok this week, Putin said that there would be no conflict with North Korea that would involve Weapons of Mass Destruction, RT reports.

“The build-up of some military atmosphere, hysteria, is counter productive, in my opinion.  It will lead to nothing, because what is happening now, of course, is a provocation from North Korea.  This is quite obvious.  They are provoking the situation, but if they are doing it, they are not stupid people, believe me.  So, they expect the corresponding reaction from their partners, and they achieve it.”

Putin urged the U.S. and others to avoid going down a “dead-end road” with North Korea.  The Kremlin released a statement regarding North Korea and the United States:

“Russia believes that the policy of putting pressure on Pyongyang to stop its nuclear missile program is misguided and futile.  The region’s problems should only be settled through a direct dialogue of all the parties concerned without any preconditions. Provocations, pressure and militarist and insulting rhetoric are a dead-end road.”

Russia’s and China’s ambassadors to the UN both said they were opposed to unilateral sanctions on North Korea. Instead, Moscow and Beijing repeated calls for the U.S. and South Korea to terminate their so-called war games.

During the Eastern Economic Forum, Putin discussed North Korea and the United States, focusing on warning that no WMD’s will be used by the United States against North Korea.

“We hope it will not come to a conflict with the use of wmd’s in North-East Asia, there are possibilities to achieve the settlement of Pyongyang’s problem by diplomatic means.  This is possible and MUST be done.

We must work together.  We can and must achieve positive results.  North Korea views the possession of atomic weapons and missile technology as their only means of protection.  Do you honestly believe they will give it up now?”

Russia and China have been very vocal that they are against any military action from the United States towards North Korea.   The diplomatic means they say we must do, we have continued to use and place sanctions, of which neither Russia or China has enforced.

We must look outside the box for the reasons behind China and Russia taking a stance against the United States when it comes to North Korea.

China is in a power play in the South China Sea and it is the United States that is the main road block against China’s domination of the contested waters.  Roughly 5 trillion dollars of commerce is done through the South China Sea and China wants it all.

Russia is furious with the United States over aiding and arming the Ukraine and putting U.N. troops along their borders.  Tensions escalated between the United States and Russia after the Kremlin said the White House’s decision to supply Ukraine with lethal weapons would set back peace efforts
