AL SHARPTON IS A RACE BAITING PILE OF GARBAGE-CLARK KENT
It’s tough to be liberal when you’re so often at odds with common sense.
Take, for example, the issue of abortion. This came up yesterday because of the march of life in Washington, D.C. on the 41st anniversary of Roe v. Wade.
Naturally, liberals want to frame the debate on their terms. They claim that the pro-life movement is just one aspect of the so-called “war on women” that conservatives have been waging lately.
Of course, they never mention that abortion kills an unborn child. That might generate sympathy for the pro-life cause.
Al Sharpton, on his MSNBC program yesterday, almost committed a Washington gaffe. That is, he almost slipped up and accidentally told the truth.
He played a clip of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor calling for an end to taxpayer funded abortions. This is something that is near and dear to the heart of virtually every pro-life conservative.
Then, when recapping Cantor’s remarks, Sharpton said this: “No taxpayers paid for aborting—uh, for abortions…”
He almost described abortion as an active verb in the present continuous tense: “No taxpayers paid for aborting…”
Why is that so important? It’s important because the Rev. Al didn’t want to finish that sentence, which is why he corrected himself.
He didn’t want to finish that sentence because he didn’t want to describe what was being aborted. A fetus is aborted. An unborn child is aborted.
But Sharpton didn’t wish to disseminate that information to all 7 of his viewers.
We understand why. The truth hurts.
Have a look at the video below. Sharpton’s remarks start at about 0:59.
