BREAKING: Republican Senators BETRAY Trump On Immigration After DERAILING Obamacare Vote

On Tuesday, establishment Republicans derailed the vote for the repeal of Obamacare, breaking their campaign promise to bring relief to the American taxpayer, and now it looks as if they’re betraying us again on immigration.

President Trump campaigned on being tough with immigration, but that’s not stopping Senate Republicans from teaming up with the Democrats to do the one thing Americans don’t want them to do – pass amnesty. Breitbart News reported that Lindsey Graham and Dick Durbin are working with Senate Democrats to craft legislation that mirrors Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) executive order, and it’s enough to make your blood boil.

Establishment Republicans and Democrats are teaming up on Capitol Hill to bring back legislation that would give amnesty to hundreds of thousands of young illegal aliens in the United States.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Sen. Dick Durbin (R-IL) are working on a replica version of the Obama-era “DREAM Act,” according to McClatchy, which has long been supported by Democrats and the Republican establishment.

When asked about working with Graham on resurrecting the amnesty legislation, Graham responded “We’re working on it. We’ll see.”

Under the legislation, the hundreds of thousands of young illegal aliens currently being protected by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, created by former President Obama, would be given legal status and potentially a pathway to citizenship.

Just last week, Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly said that the administration likely wouldn’t defend DACA in court, as they don’t believe it to be constitutional, so the only way to save it would be to pass a bill doing so. However, it’s highly doubtful he meant for the Republicans to turn on their base and join the Democrats to give them yet another win after they’ve done nothing but stand in the way of literally everything President Trump has tried to do.
