BREAKING: Russia THREATENS America After N. Korea LAUNCHES Successful Ballistic MISSILE

North Korea’s latest missile test on Sunday was the country’s most successful yet, according to analysts, who say Pyongyang may now have a weapon capable of hitting a key US military base in the Pacific.

North Korean state media KCNA claimed that the apparently new Hwasong-12 missile reached an altitude of 2,111.5 kilometers (1,312 miles)

On Monday, Pyongyang made the extraordinary claim that its latest test proved the country had a rocket capable of carrying a large nuclear warhead and that the US mainland and its military base on the Pacific island of Guam were now within its “sighting range for strike.”
Significantly the test appeared to have struck near the eastern coast of Russia, which prompted a reaction on Monday from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The White House condemned the attack and made an unusually speculative statement, saying that “the President cannot imagine that Russia is pleased.”
On Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin condemned the launch as “counterproductive, damaging, dangerous.” But he warned against “intimidating” Pyongyang, Reuters reports.
Russia initially responded by putting its far eastern air defenses on high alert, according to Russian state media, and Putin reportedly discussed the launch with Chinese President Xi Jinping during a meeting in Beijing.
“Concern was expressed about the escalation of tension, including in connection with the launch (of the missile of the DPRK),” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was quoted as saying in Russian state media.
The test is unlikely to mark a new phase in North Korea’s missile and nuclear ambitions. Russia is one of the few countries that has diplomatic ties with North Korea.
Russia has shown concern about Pyongyang’s missiles, but it may also see North Korea as an opportunity to gain leverage with the West, the US in particular, according to CNN Moscow Bureau Chief Matthew Chance.
Following Sunday’s test, the US called for repercussions from the international community.
“Let this latest provocation serve as a call for all nations to implement far stronger sanctions against North Korea,” said the statement from White House press secretary Sean Spicer.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley warned Sunday that the international community will “continue to tighten the screws” around the North Korean regime. She told ABC’s “This Week” that Kim is “in a state of paranoia.”

Meanwhile, U.S. officials are looking at taking precautions. Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska, is planning to introduce a measure this week to add another 28 ground-based interceptors in Alaska and California and authorize additional missile-defense testing, Fox News is told.

Sanctions?  Obama played the sanctions game for 8 years and North Korea not only ignored the sanctions, they even stepped up their nuclear program.  It is abundantly clear that North Korea will not stop until they have their nuclear war with the USA and so far, sanctions have been a pathetic attempt to appease the sheep.
What John Q. Public does not understand is that what the military releases to the public is a far cry from the real truth of the situation.  Experts and even some military brass, have come out and said that North Korea is not only an immediate threat to the US citizens, they pose an immediate threat of EMP and nuclear weapons.
Sanctions have failed and if we continue to follow Obama’s failures, it will be the American people who continue to suffer.

The dangerous threat comes on the heels of the announcement that they detained a fourth U.S. citizen for unspecified “acts of hostility aimed at overthrowing the country.”

The State Department was unable to comment specifically on the cases of the four Americans who have allegedly been arrested by the North Korean government.

“In regards to reports of recently detained U.S. citizens,” the State Department said, “we have no further comment due to privacy considerations.”

Also, Congress overwhelming voted to impose new sanctions on N.Korea for their continuous missile launches, which they aren’t happy about.

The committee of the North’s Supreme People’s Assembly denounced the sanctions as “the most heinous act against humanity that not only infringes upon the sacred sovereignty of (North Korea) but also arbitrarily violates universal principles of sovereign equality and non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries which run through the United Nations Charter.”

And, North Korea accused U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and South Korean intelligence services of plotting to assassinate dictator Kim Jong Un with a “biochemical substance.”
