BREAKING: Russia Just Made MASSIVE Move That Has WORLD On HIGH ALERT, “In 2 Weeks…”

Major Russian naval deployment to Syria…

Russia is “deploying all of their Northern fleet and much of the Baltic fleet in the largest surface deployment since the end of the Cold War,” according to Russia’s Nezavisimaya Gazeta daily reports.

According to a senior NATO diplomat, this is not a friendly port call. In two weeks, we will see a crescendo of air attacks on Aleppo as part of Russia’s strategy to declare victory there.

The Russian fleet is scheduled to arrive off of the coast of Syria in two weeks, According to General Morton Haga Lunde, the head of the Norwegian military intelligence service.

The fleet consists of the air craft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov, battle cruiser Pyotr Velikiy, two large anti-submarine warships – the Severomorsk and Vice-Admiral Kulakov – and four support vessels.

The Admiral Kuznetsov is the Russian flagship and the country’s only aircraft carrier.

According to Russian armed forces channel TV Zvezda, multiple Russian submarines will leave the Atlantic and to escort the fleet to Syria.

Russia already has 10 naval ships off of the coast of Syria, once the fleet joins them they will rival the U.S. Navy’s sixth fleet that is currently deployed in the region.

The Russian aircraft carrier fleet, led by the Admiral Kuznetzov, is on its way towards the English Channel as it prepares to join Bashar al-Assad’s bombing campaign in Syria, the Ministry of Defense confirmed.

Putin’s admirals are keen to ramp up the pressure on Britain’s warships by calling in extra assets from the Mediterranean in a mission dubbed ‘Operation Sea Fist’ by the Russian media.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the Russian fleet is being kept under close observation by the Royal Navy and the RAF.

The aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetzov has 12 P-700 Granit anti-ship cruise missile which can be nuclear tipped as well as used against ground targets.

She also is equipped with 8 Kashtan CIWS (close in weapon system) which is a modern naval air defense gun-missile system.  The guns used in the Kashtan are the GSh-30K six-barrel 30 mm rotary cannon and the missiles used are the 9M311 missiles.

Admiral Kuznetsov has a massive flight deck with a 12-degree ski jump to allow Su-33 air superiority fighters to operate off its deck in STOBAR configuration. This flight deck has flush covers for the 12 P-700’s thus making it uniform and ideal for air ops. It has 3 launch positions, two short and one long.

It was designed to carry an air wing of 58 aircraft as well as helicopter’s and support planes.

This vessel isn’t a pure aircraft carrier but is called a cruiser due to its massive ASHMS payload and extensive command and control facilities along with sensors present on this vessel.

NATO has accused Russia of provocative military maneuvers, especially in the Baltic region. Russian warplanes have stepped up patrols near NATO countries’ airspace.

NATO believes this move by Russia is intended to bring an end to the Syrian conflict as soon as possible.  Russia has made it clear that any military who attacks Syria or attacks the Syrian government, will be engaged by Russian military forces which are operating inside Syria with the permission of the Syrian government.

Two weeks, that is the number of days we have to find out if a war will break out or if diplomatic resolutions will be found.

What is clear, is that Russia has bolstered its military naval presence and has sent the world a very clear message.

I personally believe that we may see a deployment by the USS Nimitz as an equalizer to the Russian fleet steaming towards Syria.  The Nimitz is the answer to how the United States can counter the superior firepower of the Admiral Kuznetsov.

The USS Nimitz is currently state-side and going through an immense amount of drills and tests before a schedule 2017 deployment.

God Bless.
