In the small town of Owego located in southern New York state, a 9/11 memorial monument is causing controversy.

A particular group has taken issue with the inscription on the memorial in which it calls the perpetrators of the attack – Islamic terrorists.

The group is called the Islamic Organization of the Southern Tier and they are claiming they are worried the wording COULD encourage hatred toward Muslims living in the area.

They believe it paints all Muslims with the same brush.

It’s the same tired argument we always hear every time this same topic comes up.

How does identifying the motivating ideology of the 9/11 attackers paint all Muslims with the same brush? Does referring to the Italian mafia amount to calling all Italians mafioso?

Does speaking of the German Nazis mean that one is referring to all Germans as such?

This is simply more of the same, lame attempts to deflect attention away from the ideologies that led up to the radicalization of the Muslim hijackers and the subsequent attack on the US.

Therefore keep people ignorant and complacent regarding the fact that those hijackers were working from Islamic principles that are embedded within the Islamic texts that are read and studied and taught by the Islamic Organization of the Southern Tier.

According to local News Channel 3, WMMT – Town Supervisor Donald Castellucci doesn’t see it that way.

“I don’t live in a politically-correct world. I live in a historical fact world and cross terrorism, whether it’s American, homegrown, Christianity, Islamic, you call it what it is,” he said.

What is that dude smoking?

The Islamic group has asked that the monument be changed to read, “terrorists” or even “Al-Qaeda terrorists.”

Here’s the answer to their request- bite me. ?

It was ISLAMIC TERRORISTS-PERIOD.

Unfortunately I have a terrible feeling that we are about to experience an escalated amount of terrorist attacks thanks to BIDEN’S WIDE OPEN BORDERS.
