Sparks Fly During Trump’s First W.H. Interview, Then He SILENCES ABC Host With A Single Line

President Trump had his first interview from the White House with ABC’s David Muir last night, and it was easy to see the biased host was outmatched by the new president.

Muir spent most of his time asking dumb questions nobody cares about, like the size of the crowd at the inauguration, to which Trump had a solid response.

But the best part of the interview came when Trump gave a shout out to the March for Life, which is happening tomorrow, while calling out media bias, leaving Muir at a loss for words.

Here’s Trump’s response to Muir asking about crowd sizes at the inauguration:

“Part of my whole victory was that the men and women of this country who have been forgotten will never be forgotten again. Part of that is when they try and demean me unfairly because we had a massive crowd of people.

I looked over that sea of people and I said to myself, wow. And I’ve seen crowds before, big, big crowds. That was some crowd.

When I looked at the numbers that happened to come in from all of the various sources, we had the biggest audience in the history of inaugural speeches.”

Such sources include not just people in attendance, but also television ratings as well as viewers on the web and social media, but the liberal media doesn’t like to make that distinction. Although while Trump handled that question rather well, the best part was when he masterfully forced Muir to actually retreat away from comparing crowd sizes.

Yeah, that really happened.

Newsbusters has more [emphasis mine]:

Wednesday night was a major first for Donald Trump as ABC aired his very first interview as the president of the United States. The interview questions ranged from immigration policy to what carpet he chose for the Oval Office (Ronald Reagan’s), but things got awkward for interviewer David Muir when he tried to stick Trump with questions about the Women’s March on Saturday, “Let me just ask you while we’re standing outside, could you hear the voices from the Women’s March here in Washington.”

“No, I couldn’t hear them. The crowds were large, but you will have a large crowd on Friday, too, which is mostly pro-life people,” Trump informed Muir before hammering him for the media’s long history of blatantly ignoring the annual March for Life in Washington, DC:

You’re going to have a lot of people coming on Friday. And I will say this, and I didn’t realize this. But I was told. You will have a very large crowd of people. I don’t know as large or larger. Some people said it will be larger. Pro-life people and they say the press doesn’t cover them.

Muir was caught completely off guard and was left stuttering by the turn of events. “I don’t want to compare crowd sizes again. I – I—I,” he said, trying to scramble away from the issue of liberal media bias against conservatives.

Ouch. Quite embarrassing for a veteran reporter to be tripped up so easily. But then again, what else should he expect?

After all, Trump has been trolling the liberal media since he decided to run for office, and he wins every time.
