BREAKING: Starbucks Has INSANE Response To Trump’s Travel Ban

Reactions to President Trump’s moratorium on immigration from certain nations, but the CEO of Starbucks takes the cake when it comes to utter insanity.

Recent polling shows that the majority of the nation is in favor of the president’s executive orders, but that’s not stopping Howard Schultz from pushing back against the White House using his company for political leverage. Whether or not it’s a smart move remains to be seen; however, his plan to hire an additional 10,000 refugees probably isn’t going to go over too well with the majority of the country.

According to the Daily Caller, Schultz plans on hiring some 10,000 refugees in 75 different nations over the course of the next five years.

More from the Caller:

Schultz laid out the details of the employment initiative in a letter to employees, promising the company would do “everything possible,” to support the workers affected by the ban, Reuters reports. Starting in the U.S., Starbucks will begin the initiative by hiring people who worked with former U.S. troops as interpreters and support personnel.

This is not the first time that Shultz has gotten political, putting the company in the center of the national spotlight. The chief executive wrote a public letter weighing in on the “polarized and emotional debate” of gun control in Sept. 2013, calling for customers to “no longer bring firearms,” into Starbucks facilities. Shultz also started open forums for race relations discussions for Starbuck’s employees across the nation.

Lovely, eh? What better way to give a terrorist the means to kill people en masse than to make them a barista so they can make their beverages?

The move hasn’t been too well received by the country. Within hours of the announcement, the hashtag #BoycottStarbucks took off as Twitter’s number one trending topic.

Here’s a sampling:

Again, total insanity.
