Hawaii. Most of us have vacationed there and it is truly a beautiful place. Great surf. Awesome beaches. Killer golf. But if you are a gun owner Hawaii SUCKS!

Hawaii is officially the first state to enter gun owners into an FBI database system for “greater criminal record monitoring.”

Uhmmm, criminals don’t register their guns you stupid morons.

This system, also known as the “Rap Back” system, allows law enforcement agencies to be automatically notified when a Hawaii-based gun owner is arrested anywhere in the country. The governor’s office said this system will allow county police departments to better determine whether a firearm owner who has run into trouble may continue to legally possess firearms, according to Hawaii News Now.

“This is about our community’s safety and responsible gun ownership. This system will better enable our law enforcement agencies to ensure the security of all Hawaii residents and visitors to our islands,” Governor David Ige said.

Ige also signed two other bills relating to firearms.

The first bill, HB 625, disqualifies anyone charged with harassment by stalking and sexual assault from owning, possessing or controlling any firearm or ammunition.

The second bill, HB 2632, gives police authority to seize firearms and ammunition if the owner has been disqualified due to mental problems.

Not everyone is thrilled about this blatant assault on citizen’s rights.

Many people say gun owners shouldn’t have to be entered in a database to practice a constitutional right, FOX reports.

“I don’t like the idea of us being entered into a database. It basically tells us that they know where the guns are, they can go grab them” Jerry Ilo, a firearm and hunting instructor for the state, told the Associated Press last month. “We get the feeling that Big Brother is watching us.”

The National Rifle Association and the Hawaii Rifle Association had called on their members to oppose the registration bill and the measure barring those convicted of stalking or sex assault from owning or possessing a gun.

“This is an extremely dangerous bill. Exercising a constitutional right is not inherently suspicious,”  Amy Hunter for the National Rifle Association, said in May. “Hawaii will now be treating firearms as suspect and subject to constant monitoring.”

Despite pressure from the gun lobby, Ige signed the measure barring gun ownership from those convicted of stalking or sex assault and a third piece of legislation Thursday.

Well, I can’t speak for y’all but personally you won’t see me buying property in the Aloha State.

I spent quite a bit of time in Kauai in the 90’s building custom homes. It was nice but it has it’s drawbacks.

Worst PIZZA ever. Crappiest Mexican food. The lava rocks cut your feet to pieces when trying to surf and the locals hate white people. So, with this newest revelation I am officially crossing Hawaii off my list of destinations. In fact, I have no desire to go ANYWHERE and prefer to stay at my beautiful house where I remain safe, armed and comfortable.

Liberals are scumbags.

Thank you and may God Bless You ALL!
