More than 3,300 sea lions in Chile have died of the H5N1 bird flu virus. That represents a six-fold increase in just 4 weeks, according to government estimates released on Wednesday.

The outbreak is also affecting other marine animals, including dolphins, porpoises, sea otters, and penguins. As the virus continues to mutate and get better at infecting mammals, the ruling classes continue to warn of the potential for a future human pathogen.

Chile has also seen a case of bird flu in humans.

Chile detected the first case of H5N1 bird flu in a human, the country’s health ministry reported on Wednesday. The ruling class is “investigating” the source of contagion as well as others who were in contact with the patient.

Isn’t the source birds? That’s what they keep telling us anyway.  This case was detected in a 53-year-old man who presented severe influenza symptoms, according to a statement issued by the ministry, but they noted the patient was in stable condition, according to a report by Reuters. 

Chilean health authorities noted the virus can be transmitted from birds or marine mammals to humans, but there is no known human-to-human transmission. Earlier this year, Ecuador confirmed its first case of human transmission of bid flu in a 9-year-old girl.

Global health officials have said that the risk of transmission between humans is low, but vaccine makers have been preparing bird flu shots for humans “just in case.”  They are also preparing drugs for humans, “just in case.”

Sea lions have been hit unusually hard by the H5N1 strain in South America. Around 3,500 sea lions in Peru, which is next to Chile, were reported to have died of avian influenza as of early March, raising the possibility of mammal-to-mammal transmission, according to a report by BNO News. 

Earlier this week, China reported a case of H3N1 bird flu in a human.

The H5N1 bird flu virus is now spreading to foxes and sea lions, and most media outlets say that if it jumps to humans, it’ll be “worse than COVID.” That wouldn’t be difficult to do considering COVID was all hyped-up media fear-mongering.

According to a report by Reuters, France has reported an outbreak of highly pathogenic H5N1 bird flu among red foxes northeast of Paris, the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) said on Tuesday, as the spread of the virus to mammals raised global concerns.

At least 3,487 sea lions have been found dead due to the virus, according to the agency – over 3% of Peru’s sea lion population. It has also recorded five fur seal deaths linked to the bird flu, according to a report by CNN. 

It hasn’t only been sea lions either. Other marine species in Chile have also been hit by bird flu, most notably Humboldt penguins. So far, 933 have been found dead this year and that statistic represents an estimated 8.5% of all Humboldt penguins in Chile.

“A total population of no more than 11,000 Humboldt penguins is estimated in our country, which is not a lot because this species has a highly localized distribution,” said María Soledad Tapia Almonacid, the head of the aquaculture service. “In this contingency, we are close to losing 10% of this species and that certainly worries us.”

Two Chilean dolphins have also now tested positive for H5N1 bird flu, making it the first time that dolphins have been affected by the virus in the South American country.

At least 9 other dolphins were also found dead but have not been tested.

Sixteen marine otters and 15 porpoises, a marine mammal closely related to narwhal and beluga whales were also believed to have died of the bird flu. Most of the deaths have been reported in the northern region.

“The global H5N1 situation is worrying given the wide spread of the virus in birds around the world and the increasing reports of cases in mammals, including in humans,” Dr. Sylvie Briand, a WHO official, said on February 24th. “WHO takes the risk from this virus seriously and urges heightened vigilance from all countries.”

Is a new pandemic on the horizon?

All signs point to human bird flu being created in a lab, and the fact that Dr. Anthony Fauci and Bill Gates have both had a hand in funding gain of function research with this very goal in mind does not bode well for any of us.

Some of this research, in fact, has been carried out in Ukraine Biolabs with funding from the Pentagon.

The two have both funded work by Dr. Yoshihiro Kawaoka identifying mutations in different bird flu viruses that could have pandemic potential. Fauci has been funding his work since 1990.

In one experiment, the researcher mixed the bird flu virus with the Spanish flu virus to create a deadly respiratory virus capable of human transmission.

He has also created an airborne hybrid of bird flu and swine flu that can completely evade the human immune system and leave people completely defenseless against it.

Fauci has also been funding the work of a team of Dutch researchers, under the guidance of virologist Ron Fouchier, who are creating an airborne version of avian flu using genetic engineering and the serial infection of ferrets.

In other words, researchers have been hard at work manipulating bird flu to find ways to make it airborne and capable of causing infections across species.

This type of work was so concerning that the American government temporarily banned it in 2014, although that ban was lifted in 2017.

The ban wasn’t enough to deter researchers anyway, as Fauci continued funding gain of function research on different coronaviruses during that time in China.
