BOOM: Susan Rice Caught Lying In Yet ANOTHER Scandal – This One Is A WHOPPER!

During the height of the Obama regime, Obama himself declared that the use of chemical weapons by Syrian President Bashar Assad would cross a “red line” and “might” trigger a U.S. military response. Assad responded with more chemical warfare against the Syrian citizenry. Yet, former security advisor to the Obama regime and spinner of tall tales, Susan Rice, is quoted as stating – We were able to get the Syrian government to voluntarily and verifiably give up its chemical weapons stockpile.”

The media followed Rice’s lead with Politico reporting in an article entitled, “Obama’s Red Line, Revisited “dated July 19, 2016, stating –

What transpired over the next month was one of the most controversial and revealing episodes in eight years of Obama’s foreign policy. Despite the administration’s strong advocacy and support from a small minority of hawkish politicians, Congress and the American people proved strongly opposed to the use of force. In the end, however, the threat of military action and a surprise offer by Russia ended up achieving something no one had imagined possible: the peaceful removal of 1,300 tons of Syria’s chemical weapons.”

Just a short year later, after Rice and Obama drew their “red line” talking about the peaceful removal of 1,300 tons of Syrian chemical weapons, another chemical attack was waged by the Assad regime with estimates of the dead, many of them young children, ranged from 215 to more than 1,300.

The Atlantic even discussed it further in an article dated April 4, 2017, entitled “How Is Syria Still Using Chemical Weapons?

Despite an agreement reached years ago, chemicals have been used repeatedly on the country’s battlefield. The Assad regime has been accused of using chemical agents on rebels and civilians several times over more than six years of civil war in Syria. The first prominent attack came in 2013 in Ghouta, a Damascus suburb—about a year after Barack Obama declared that using such weapons would cross a “red line” and “would change our calculus” about intervening. That attack killed 1,000 people. The latest, on Tuesday in Idlib province, is said to have killed dozens, and came days after Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the UN, said that America’s “priority is no longer to sit and focus on getting Assad out.”

Yet Rice persists in her fiction. NPR states in an interview with Rice –

“We were able to find a solution that didn’t necessitate the use of force that actually removed the chemical weapons that were known from Syria, in a way that the use of force would never have accomplished. Our aim in contemplating the use of force following the use of chemical weapons in August of 2013 was not to intervene in the civil war, not to become involved in the combat between Assad and the opposition, but to deal with the threat of chemical weapons by virtue of the diplomacy that we did with Russia and with the Security Council. We were able to get the Syrian government to voluntarily and verifiably give up its chemical weapons stockpile.”

Yet on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, yet another 100 people were killed, and another 300 were injured in a sarin gas attack on Khan Shikhun in Idlib province of Syria.

Rice continues to perpetuate the deception of the Obama regime and the “red line” that’s been crossed repeatedly and flat ignored.  While I truly believe that America does not need to trot the globe in our efforts to make every country in the image of America, toppling regimes as we see fit to do so, it is undeniable that war has ripped the country of Syria apart.  Many have died due to the whims of power hungry political despots and to continue to perpetuate falsehoods to make the Obama regime and their playground antics out to be some sort of heroism, is a disservice to Americans and to those that have died.

If your foreign policy has to be rescued by a dictator, you are doing it wrong. If America is to have a sound foreign policy, one must live firmly placed in reality with factual information such as can be revealed without compromising national security.  Those who love peace must prepare for war.  Know the enemy and what he is capable of, chose to give humanitarian aid on a case by case basis and should their war visit our shores and become a threat to American interests?  Then we know what the enemy is capable and we address accordingly.

Rice seems intent on peddling this propagandist type fiction of how wonderfully accomplished the Obama regime was when it is clear that Obama accomplished little during his reign other than to make America less respected across the globe, widen the racial divide, go on vacation, and make speeches honor himself. One wonders what sort of spin or outright lie will be next.

God Bless.
