BREAKING: Suspect Identified In Kansas Factory Shooting, Check Out His Facebook Profile

Authorities have released the identification of the man who killed three people and wounded over a dozen more in a Kansas factory, and other details are starting to be revealed.

The suspect has been identified as 38-year-old Cedric Ford, who was a former employee of Excel Industries, a “leading manufacturer of turf care products,” according to its website. While the shooting was incredibly tragic, authorities don’t believe it was terror-related, as witnesses and other employees of the company said that Ford recently lost his job, Vice News reported.

“[This was] not terrorism, but there are some things that triggered this individual,” Harvey County Sheriff T. Walton said. “The shooter was actively shooting at any targets that came across his sights.”

Apparently, Ford shot two people on his way to Excel, although their injuries weren’t fatal. Once at the facility, he opened fire in the parking lot before entering the building and killing three people. In total, four people died, including Ford, and wounded fifteen others.

According to TheBlaze, Ford shouldn’t have even owned weapons to begin with thanks to a lengthy criminal record. He was also served with an order of protection just 90 minutes before going on the shooting rampage.

More on Ford’s criminal history from TheBlaze:

Public records show that Ford has several previous offenses in Florida over the last decade, including burglary, grand theft and fleeing from an officer. Online records show he was released from the custody of the Florida Department of Corrections in February 2007.

In Kansas, he had a misdemeanor conviction in a 2008 fighting or brawling case and various traffic violations from 2014 and 2015.

Ford’s Facebook page also showed him with pictures of weapons, including an AK-47 and a Glock handgun. Although, how he was able to obtain the weapons without legally being able to own them is unclear at the moment.

On Sunday, Ford also uploaded a video to his profile of himself dancing to the song “Summer Sixteen” by Drake. In it, the lyrics state “Looking for revenge / All summer sixteen / All summer sixteen,” and almost provide an ominous warning of what was to come.
