After Threat From Bernie Sanders, Sheriff Joe Says THIS Will Be ‘Fun’ To Do At Trump’s Rally

GOP front-runner Donald Trump is scheduled to have a rally in Arizona today, and “America’s toughest sheriff” Joe Arpaio is tasked with policing the event. In an interview prior to the rally, Arpaio told reporters what he thinks is going to be “fun” to do to the protesters.

As thousands of Trump supporters flock to Maricopa County to see their man speak, Arpaio knows there’s going to be quite a few rabble rousers to deal with. However, it’s not anything he hasn’t ever dealt with in the past, and he’s looking forward to not only policing the event, but possibly having the opportunity to speak as well.

In an interview with Politico, the 83-year-old sheriff who officially endorsed Trump said that he’s relishing the chance to host The Donald on his home turf, and he’s not going to let Trump’s protesters get away with anything.

Here’s more from Politico:

Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County is relishing the opportunity to host Donald Trump at a rally on his own turf Saturday — and serve as the muscle at the same time.

After taking a few days off from his long streak of attention-grabbing rallies, Trump is cranking back up this weekend, and has scheduled one of his events right in the backyard of the long-serving and controversial Arizona sheriff.

Here I’m gonna be kinda wearing two hats — in charge of the security there in the town and also participating, I would imagine, with Trump in the rally, so it makes it interesting,” Arpaio said in an interview with POLITICO, adding that it “is going to be a lot of fun taking care of business there.”

That’s the sheriff we’ve all known to grow and love, and it’s why he’s earned the name as “America’s toughest sheriff.” Although while Arpaio knows there’s going to be demonstrators, he also says that what Trump is seeing is nothing compared to what he’s had to deal with himself.

“I’ve had demonstrations against me constantly,” he said. “He hasn’t had that many demonstrators compared to me.”

He also defended Trump’s campaign rhetoric, and said that the media are really blowing things out of proportion.

“They always repeat little minor things, what he said in the rally ‘oh you gotta carry him out on a stretcher, blah, blah, blah,’” Arpaio said. “I just thought that when you have a rally, you’re supposed to rally people and kind of say things that are exciting.”

Of course, and we agree too, Sheriff Joe. There isn’t a better person in the country to deal with the unhinged leftists than Arpaio himself, and they had best be careful with him around. After all, he has a giant tent city just begging for more occupants, and he’s already shown he’s not afraid to fill it.
