Sassy Liberty AMERICA’S FREEDOM FIGHTERS –

President Donald Trump has clearly had enough and he is taking to Twitter to call Attorney General Jeff Sessions on the carpet this morning. He is demanding to know why the “beleaguered” Jeff Sessions was not looking into the “crimes” of Hillary Clinton’s in a public rebuke of Sessions.

President Trump tweeted –

President Trump issued a series of tweets to the American people calling Sessions on the carpet.  He demands to know just why Sessions is not looking at Hillary Clinton or Comey’s crimes or the 33,000 deleted emails.

Many Americans are in 100% agreement with President Trump that Sessions should never have recused himself from the Russia investigation.

Sessions could potentially have ended the Russian witch hunt instead, he chose to sit back and watch as American tax payer money is wasted and this inquiry disrupts much more important issues.

However, something that is confusing and perhaps something that needs to be clarified is many are saying on 60 Minutes back in December, Trump himself told the American people that he was not going to pursue Hillary Clinton for criminal charges.  He also stated no one from his administration would either.

Actually, that is not QUITE what he said — here’s the exact conversation from  November 12, 2016, on 60 Minutes

Lesley Stahl: Are you going to ask for a special prosecutor to investigate Hillary Clinton over her emails? And are you, as you had said to her face, going to try and put her in jail?

Donald Trump: Well, I’ll tell you what I’m going to do, I’m going to think about it. Um, I feel that I want to focus on jobs, I want to focus on healthcare, I want to focus on the border and immigration and doing a really great immigration bill. We want to have a great immigration bill. And I want to focus on all of these other things that we’ve been talking about.

Lesley Stahl: You– you know, you–

Donald Trump: And get the country straightened away.

Lesley Stahl: You called her “crooked Hillary,” said you wanted to get in jail, your people in your audiences kept saying, “Lock em’ up.”

Donald Trump: Yeah. She did–

Lesley Stahl: Do you—

Donald Trump: She did some bad things, I mean she did some bad things–

Lesley Stahl: I know, but a special prosecutor? You think you might…

Donald Trump: I don’t want to hurt them. I don’t want to hurt them. They’re, they’re good people. I don’t want to hurt them. And I will give you a very, very good and definitive answer the next time we do 60 Minutes together.

President Trump is also questioning why both the Clintons and John Podesta’s ties to Russia are not being investigated, including the Uranium One deal and several other scandals involving the Clintons and Russia.

This is the second time in about a week that President Trump has called Sessions’ on the carpet before the American people with indications that he is unhappy with the AG’s performance in his capacity as the top Justice official of the U.S.

Just last week President Trump expressed his disgust with Sessions’ decision to recuse himself from the Russia investigation, telling reporters he would not have appointed Sessions to lead the Justice Department if he had known Sessions would recuse himself from the investigation into President Trump’s supposed Russian ties.

Trump stated –

“Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job, and I would have picked somebody else.”

Sessions responded to the criticism a day later, saying he loved his job and would continue to serve as long as it was “appropriate.” The White House stated Thursday that it had “confidence” in Sessions.
