President trump promised to erase Obama’s legacy in America, and so far he’s been following through more than any of us could have ever dreamed.

Between canceling the Paris Accord, approving the Keystone Pipeline, working to renegotiate horrible trade deals, reversing Obama’s burdening regulations, and otherwise doing away with every America-killing policy Obama implemented, we’re well on our way to Making America Great Again, and the best part is he’s not stopping. Earlier on Friday, he made another major move that has the former White House squatter absolutely furious – he cleaned serious house at one of Obama’s beloved agencies.

According to the Washington Blade, President Trump fired every last remaining Obama holdover from the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS, paving the way to hire people who actually know what the hell they’re going.

With no explanation, the White House has terminated members of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS amid widespread discontent with President Trump’s approach to the epidemic.

After six members of PACHA resigned in June, the White House on Wednesday terminated the remaining 16 members without explanation via a letter from FedEx.

Scott Schoettes, a Chicago-based HIV/AIDS activist and senior attorney for Lambda Legal, was one of the six who resigned in June over Trump’s inaction on HIV/AIDS and said on Twitter the remaining members were fired.

“Remaining #HIV/AIDS council members booted by @realDonaldTrump. No respect for their service. Dangerous that #Trump and Co. (Pence esp.) are eliminating few remaining people willing to push back against harmful policies, like abstinence-only sex ed. #WeObject #PACHA6 #Resist

More from the Independent Journal:

However, Scott A. Schoettes, one of a handful of panel members who resigned this summer, expressed dismay at the decision in a tweet yesterday:

In June, Schoettes penned an article for Newsweek in which he justified the resignations, accusing the president of not caring about people living with HIV.

“The Trump Administration has no strategy to address the on-going HIV/AIDS epidemic, seeks zero input from experts to formulate HIV policy, and—most concerning—pushes legislation that will harm people living with HIV and halt or reverse important gains made in the fight against this disease,” he wrote.

As for what the move actually means? That has yet to be seen; however, when you have people on an AIDS council that don’t believe abstinence helps stop the spread of AIDS, it’s apparent they have no business being in such an organization. After all, if you’re not having sex, then there’s literally almost zero chance you’re going to catch AIDS, so hopefully the President replaces these ideologues with pragmatic leaders who won’t let their ideology cloud their decision-making process.
