Trump Supporter Suing UC Berkeley After Getting Pepper Sprayed on Campus

Sassy Liberty AMERICA’S FREEDOM FIGHTERS –

As the fight for free speech rages on in Berkeley, one woman is taking a stand.  That woman is Oakland resident Kiara Robles.  Robles is a supporter of President Donald Trump and went to UC Berkeley to attend a rally for right wing activist Milo Yiannopoulos back in February. Robles was assaulted on camera while being interviewed by an ABC news crew with pepper spray by a masked assailant as riots ensued.

Berkeley students and hate groups such as Antifa and Black Bloc joined the fray in their attempts to silence speech and ideologies different from their own. The university later canceled the scheduled speech because of the violent nature of the protests.

Robles is now suing the university for $23 million, according to a lawsuit filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The lawsuit alleges that Robles’ first amendment rights were violated in the attack. She states she isn’t necessarily certain what she would like to see happen as a result of the lawsuit but she felt that some sort of response was necessary.

Robles states –

“I do think order is the right way to respond to chaos, and a lawsuit is the civil way to respond to injustice”

Robles is being represented by Attorney Larry Klayman.  Klayman is a politically conservative American lawyer and former U.S. Justice Department prosecutor.  He is also the founder of Judicial Watch and the government watchdog group Freedom Watch.

Klayman states –

We want justice for Kiara. She was assaulted. The California university system, and in part, Berkeley, is out of control, and they’re facilitating, if not inciting, violence and the campus police sit around twiddling their thumbs.”

The lawsuit has 18 separate named defendants including UC Berkeley Police Department, Berkeley Police Department, UC Chancellor Nicholas Dirks and Berkeley Mayor Jesse Arreguin, as well as House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and liberal business investor George Soros.

UC Berkeley is attempting to deny the allegations in the suit calling it a “collection of false claims” though I am unsure exactly how they hope anyone to give credence to their denial when the entire incident was caught by the ABC News Crew in a now viral video. However, UC Berkeley persists in their fictional narrative with claims that they are prepared to fight back in court. Well, alrighty then.  I look forward to watching your utter and complete legal decimation.

UC Berkeley spokesman Dan Mogulof stated – “We are confident that UCPD’s actions will be vindicated against the plaintiff’s uninformed allegations.”

Yes and we all know reality does not in any way reside in Berkeley, don’t we…

The damages done by students and other violent protesters caused more than $100,000 in property damage to the campus property when smoke bombs were thrown into the crowd, windows were broken, fires were set, and individuals were attacked all because they chose to have thoughts and ideas that are different from what UC Berkeley finds acceptable. This is a trend at Berkeley with the most recent issues revolving around another voice on the right – Ann Coulter.  It seems no dissension is allowed in what was once known as the “birthplace of free speech.”  Mario Savio would be so proud.

“The university is a vast public utility which turns out future workers in today’s vineyard, the military-industrial complex. They’ve got to be processed in the most efficient way to see to it that they have the fewest dissenting opinions, that they have just those characteristics which are wholly incompatible with being an intellectual. This is a real internal psychological contradiction. People have to suppress the very questions which reading books raises.”
