While U.S. Launches Airstrikes On Syria, Look What Happened In N. Korea…

It is virtually certain that North Korea felt the impact of the U.S.-led strike on Syria ordered by President Donald Trump.  The strike was ordered in response to reports of the Syrian leader, Bashar al-Assad attacking his own people with sarin gas.  This is widely viewed as the use of weapons of mass destruction by the Council on Foreign Relations.

In response to the brutal chemical weapons attack against Syrian civilians, President Trump ordered and executed a swift and decisive response while calling for the removal of Assad.

The U.S. military carried out a missile strike Thursday evening targeting Syrian military bases where the chemical weapons were housed.

President Trump issued a statement, stating the U.S. must “prevent and deter the spread and use of deadly chemical weapons” calling on “all civilized nations” to join the U.S. in seeking an end to the carnage in Syria.

Assad choked out the lives of helpless men, women, and children. It was a slow and brutal death for so many. Even beautiful babies were cruelly murdered in this very barbaric attack. No child of God should ever suffer such horror. Tonight I ordered a targeted military strike on the airfield in Syria from where the chemical attack was launched.”

Trump then added that there is “no dispute that Syria used banned chemical weapons.”

Years of previous attempts at changing Assad’s behavior have all failed and failed very dramatically. As a result, the refugee crisis continues to deepen and the region continues to destabilize, threatening the United States and its allies.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson states that he believes the missile strike on Syria shows —

President Trump is willing to act when governments and actors cross the line. It is clear that President Trump made that statement to the world.”

As a result of this action countries such as North Korea and its leader, Kim Jong-Un cannot help but sit up and take notice.  The U.S. has given them little choice but to heed that warning and they ignore it at their peril. Should North Korea choose to continue its missile testing and acting in a manner that could be perceived as a threat to the national security of the United States, President Trump has proven there will be no more empty words, no more lines in the sand.  Any words spoken will be followed by swift and decisive action.

God Bless.
