Iowa State Patrol officials confirm that three people were killed and two were injured when a pickup truck barreled through the front doors of the Walmart in Pella, Iowa.

Investigators have not said if the incident was an accident, or an intentional act- perhaps terrorism.

Investigators said at least two other people were hurt, including the truck driver. None of the people killed or injured were children, Patrol Sgt. Nathan Ludwig said.

“We’re heartbroken by what appears to be a tragic accident,” Walmart told WHO-TV.

A photo posted by the Des Moines Register showed the truck stopped in the produce section with debris scattered across the floor.

Crews evacuated the store after the crash. Fire trucks and ambulances rushed to the scene.

This comes on the heels of the attack at Ohio University where a 20-year-old Somali Muslim Abdul Razak Ali Artan made took his vehicle and plowed into students on the campus then proceeded to slash and hack at others with a butcher knife.
